I simply had to take a breather from the Trump echo chamber here in this forum. However, the situation going on now with the Kavanaugh confirmation process is so disgustingly typical of the republicans now I feel the need to express it. This woman does not deserve this treatment she is getting from the President on down through the republican senate and loud mouthed right wing pundits. She has had to leave her home with her family and go into hiding because she has received death threats. All she is asking for is for the FBI to investigate the charges like they normally in do in such cases and then she will testify. They want her to testify now with all those senators and at the same table as Kavanaugh is insensitive.

I really don't care about CJ and the other snaky person's points of view concerning this. It is all just too typically predictible. For my own peace of mind and the state of my health, they will go back on ignore or at least unreplied to.

???? Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

The anti-Trump commentators outnumber those who are pro-Trump by at least 3-1. Just another subtle deployment of victim status. Smile

The Republicans and Trump are treating her with kid gloves. It is very unfortunate that miscreants are threatening her but that is hardly a conservative phenomenon.

The FBI doesn't normally investigate charges that are 35 years old and don't involve federal statutes. They have investigated Kavanaugh six times already and not a whisper of this ever came up.

So now, according to you, our precious right to due process should be thrown to the side if a woman levels a charge of sexual assault?

What do you think is fair? A solo interview by Kamala Harris?

That could fairly much be said of most folks taking part in Internet political discussions.

The same Kamala Harris that launched her political career at age 29 sleeping with the 60 year old married mayor of Los Angeles? That one? No one is perfect, right?

President Bush ordered the FBI to a "full, thorough and expeditious" investigation of the accusations from Anita Hill towards Clarence Thomas. It was the right way to go. Trump can do the same and should.

Donald Trump urged Spain to 'build the wall' – across the Sahara
Quote:
Donald Trump suggested the Spanish government tackled the Mediterranean migration crisis by emulating one of his most famous policies and building a wall across the Sahara desert, the country’s foreign minister has revealed.

According to Josep Borrell, the US president brushed off the scepticism of Spanish diplomats – who pointed out that the Sahara stretched for 3,000 miles – saying: “The Sahara border can’t be bigger than our border with Mexico.”

Trump wooed voters in the 2016 election with his promise to build a “big, beautiful wall” across the US/Mexico border, which is roughly 2,000 miles long.

A similar plan in the Sahara, however, would be complicated by the fact that Spain holds only two small enclaves in north Africa – Ceuta and Melilla – and such a wall would have to be built on foreign territory.

3rd Classmate Named by Mrs. Blasey-Ford Denies Her Claims, Votes On!

Quote:
All three men named by Christine Blasey Ford deny being at the high school party. Mrs. Blasey-Ford says she was assaulted by Brett Kavanaugh at the party only she remembers.

The third classmate Patrick J. Smyth denies attending the teen party described by Blasey Ford.

Smyth graduated with Kavanaugh in 1983 from the all-boys school in North Bethesda, Maryland — Georgetown Preparatory.

FAIL. Seat the new judge now.

And how didn't the Democrats not do that by ignoring rape charges against Clinton

SlicKKK didn't totally ignore the Wanita Broadrick rape allegation; he bombed Serbia for 80 days and 80 nights including Easter Sunday to try to make it go away. The 5000 or 6000 little Slavic Orthodox children who were killed in that **** probably wouldn't refer to that is ignoring anything....

Pelosi Caught Delivering Treasonous Deal To DOJ & FBI, Trump Makes Her Regret It

Quote:
In this stunning letter is a treasonous admission, which Pelosi and her gang of four Democrats hoped would fly under the radar.

The Conservative Treehouse explains the letter, reporting, “Perhaps more stunningly, and extra-constitutionally (meaning outside the framework of constitutional separation of power), within the jaw-dropping letter the four Democrats outline previous verbal conversations and current agreements with Coats, Rosenstein, and Wray where the Cabinet officers agreed to keep information away from the White House Chief Executive, the President.”

Yeah, let that sink in. These swamp rats had secret verbal conversations. Of course, those communications excluded the GOP members on the Gang of Eight: Devin Nunes, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and Richard Burr. And, in what is tantamount to blackmail, Pelosi is outing them as taking part in these treasonous conversations, squeezing them to not declassify the FISA applications nor make the redactions public.

Pay special attention to the third paragraph:

The third paragraph.

Kelly was right in analogizing Trump's intellectual sophistication as that of a fifth grader. But it would be a fifth grader at the bottom of his class.
