Trump is hinting at a September disclosure.

Maybe he is planning to expose the US government perpetrators of 9/11. He promised to reopen that investigation.

If that were true, how many presidents are we going to "convict"?

And how far back do we go?

And who the **** is Chris Cuomo in the greater scheme of things?

Ah McCain is an insignificant piece of history, and not worthy of further comment.

The fact that he's not had an open coffin viewing the whole "tour" of his corpse casts shadows of doubt that he's even dead yet.

With any luck, he's warming a bench at Gitmo for his partners in crime.

Racist windbag Laura Ingraham says racist windbag Ron DeSantis should get an apology from Gillum

Laura Ingraham is a wellspring of poorly considered ideas, but this one belongs on her highlight reel.
EMILY Q. HAZZARD
SEP 1, 2018, 2:13 PM

Laura Ingraham — the Fox News host and fringe radio personality whom no one should take seriously on the topic of what’s racist because she herself is demonstrably racist — decided Ron DeSantis should receive an apology.

He’s earned that apology, Ingraham believes, because he got in trouble for using racist terms to talk about his opponent, Andrew Gillum, and it is in fact Gillum who should apologize.

DeSantis, the Republican candidate for Florida governor, used a number of racist terms during a Fox News interview to talk about his Democratic opponent Gillum, who is Black. The one that got headlines was his use of the term “monkey.”

Ingraham tries to explain her thinking: “‘You want me to apologize? You apologize for falsely accusing someone of racism to avoid a debate on the issues.’ I’d turn it right around on them.”

But Ingraham doesn’t even have her facts straight: Gillum didn’t accuse DeSantis of anything. In fact, he refused to take the bait and declined to comment on the incident. “I’m not going to get down in the gutter with DeSantis and Trump,” he said after. “There’s enough of that going on.”

He’s right: the race is getting really ugly. A neo-Nazi group based in Idaho has reportedly been making extremely racist robo-calls to Florida voters.

On the subject of DeSantis’ racist comments, Ingraham felt a case of Reverse Racism (which is not real) coming on. “Apparently, if you’re white, you just can’t criticize an opponent at all,” she lamented on her radio show.

Even Fox News, the network that serves up propaganda on behalf of the racist president, distanced itself from the statements. Host Sandra Smith said on air after the segment that Fox News does “not condone this language and wanted to make our viewers aware that he has since clarified his statement.”

DeSantis didn’t clarify the statement as much as deny that the term was offensive at all. His campaign even tried to claim this is a term he uses all the time — an odd strategy, considering this could be pretty easily debunked.

Media Matters fact-checked this claim, looking through his public comments to find any example of him using this phrase at all. They found none.

We checked. In fact, there is no record of DeSantis having used the phrase publicly. https://twitter.com/alivitali/status/1034809059302694912

DeSantis' spox tells me this is something the congressman says “frequently" to express something that was messed up or not done right.

Spox says it “had nothing to do with race or anything like that" but just talking about the situation in Florida. #FLGOV https://twitter.com/stevemorris__/status/1034800249985003521

Ingraham’s wacky PR advice, DeSantis’ execrable views, Fox News trying its hardest to act surprised a Republican would say such a thing on one of its programs: these could soon be in Democrats’ rear-view mirror: Polling now shows Gillum in the lead over DeSantis by about 5 points.

It must have been that head-on crash he had on his motorcycle the night he died.

Couldn't pretty him up enough for a viewing.

You've got a level head, Roger; what exactly is McCain to be respected for? Being a prisoner isn't an easy show, indeed, but my neighbour survived being one by eating grass and bird eggs.

I didn't see any royalty attending his funeral.

@Builder,
It is true, Builder, but being a powerful rogue nation casts some doubt on a Hague trial. But at least the EU has found some balls to get the UK to the ICJ for their Chago Islands genocide.

Perhaps the US will be named too, after all it's the US that gassed all the islanders dogs and warned them that they would be next if they didn't board the ship taking them away from their homes.

@camlok,
Let's talk about Nixon and Cambodia, or the Balfour declaration and the deaths of millions of German civilians after the cease fire.

Monsanto (now Bayer) will be fronting court to defend the US military poisoning of millions of Vietnamese people and US troops with agent orange.

That's not the start, nor the end, of the massive list of criminal actions of the west.

@neptuneblue,
So, Laura Ingraham is literally saying Gillum is guilty of being black in Florida? Wow, sounds like one of their "Stand your ground" defenses Rolling Eyes Sounds like typical Right Wing illogical lunacy to me.........

Human resources has been slapping his picture on every telephone pole in his village and the 18 surrounding villages. I'm not entirely sure they want him back....maybe they just want to tell his/her Mom he's in captivity in a safe place.
