@blatham,
Ok. I have been chastised by others who know George on this site. But as I told them I have never met him and so have to judge him by his rhetoric on this site and judging by that he is a troll who knowingly lies.

@RABEL222,
I don't believe georgeob1 is a troll. Can you provide evidence of this?

@cicerone imposter,
Damn it CI. Go back and read some of his posts. He is always putting someone down but nicely. He also lies by posting things he knows are untrue and posting parts of a post that make one look like a lair.

@McGentrix,
I had not noticed that because I really tend not to look at the thumbs function. But anybody on my side of the equation who downvotes mechanically is guilty in the same way. It's unthoughtful and unhelpful.

@giujohn,
gui, Quit talking BS. You really don't know how wealthy I am. Our home alone is worth $1.5 million (if not more), because we live in the heart of Silicon Valley. We don't have a mortgage or pay rent. We own two cars. Our income is in six figures, and we've been retired since 1998. I have the freedom to travel any place in this world. I've already been to over 80 countries.
Was even thinking about my trip to Esperanza Base in Antarctica the other day. Even visited Ernest Shackelton's tomb.

Actually, that cartoon shows what Trump will be passing onto the American people and the world.

Note to participants here:

Two or three individuals (frugal and layman are two) consistently give my posts thumbs down regardless of what I might post.

Feel free to counter their trolling with an up vote for my posts (where you deem that worthy) and a down vote for theirs (where you deem it deserved).

Isn't attempting a ridiculous thumb battle specifically verboten on the Throwing the Assholes Out thread TOS??

Hilarious.

Trump just threatened to dismantle the European-American alliance as we know it

Donald Trump just lobbed a grenade into the normally staid world of European-American diplomacy, using a joint interview with two of Europe’s biggest newspapers to call NATO “obsolete,” predict that the European Union would fall apart and announce that the US wouldn’t really care if it did, and threaten to potentially start a trade war with Germany over BMW’s plans to build a manufacturing plant in Mexico.

For good measure, Trump also criticized German Chancellor Angela Merkel, one of Washington’s closest allies, while hinting that he’d be willing to lift the sanctions imposed on Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has rattled many in Europe by annexing Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula and threatening to use force against other of his neighbors.

...There is only country that benefits from all of these moves: Vladimir Putin’s Russia.

So, again, what the **** is going on here? These ties and cooperative efforts between Trump's crowd and Putin are so obvious and so consistent that there is no possible investigation more urgent than one that delves into what these ties are.

Wow...Maybe you should stock up on vodka huh?

Because they're so upset that the Russians tried to disrupt the transfer of power, Democrats plan to disrupt the transfer of power.

@cicerone imposter,
About Trump. In case you didn't know, Trump is a textbook narcissist. There are many articles on Trump to support this claim.

Trump is Putin's boy. The Manchurian candidate. If Trump does what he says he's going to do-that is, if the Republican Senate and House don't rise and stop Trump out of loyalty to the country-Trump is going t hand victory in the Cold War over to Putin. Disgusting.
