Immigration is a huge winning issue for Republicans as long as they remember that the Washington Post and the New York Times do not speak for the American people.

True not all women immigrants are raped by the coyotes who are paid by them to get to and across the border, however enough do to be a real human problem. Increasingly the coyotes are controlled by the drug cartels in Mexico, perhaps the most cruel and deadly organized crime syndicates in the world. The point remains that many would be immigrants are victims of the traffickers who make their money exploiting our unprotected borders and lax treatment of illegal immigrants. A border wall and real enforcement of our long standing immigration laws would quickly end the easy opportunity we foolishly give them.

We have evaded both enforcement and needed revision of our immigration laws for several decades because previous administrations were afraid to face the political issues involved. Meanwhile the situation became worse and worse both for the country and the deserving immigrants. We are foolishly rewarding the wrong people and behaviors, and it will get far worse if we don't act on the matter. Happily we have a President who is willing to face and deal with the situation as it is.

As heartless as it might sound to those of you of the tree hugger persuasion, you really must acknowledge we need Trump to confiscate those infants and toddlers and the little girls stored away in New York to keep all the sissy's comfortable enough to sleep at night. Don't worry about those toddlers and infants, it's not like they are American babies......they are criminal spawn. All Hail Herr Tumpmeister, he will make sure those children aren't returned to those criminals. God Bless America (I can hear Kate Smith in the ether)

Even though you are wrong in your assessment of Trump's failure, I'll give you credit for finally fessing up to your true agenda.

No lefty wanted Trump to solve (what they disingenuously tried to frame as) the 'family separation" problem by simply dealing directly with the kids. They didn't want an executive order which alleviated the kids' separation problems. All they really wanted was to try to force him to retreat from his "zero tolerance" policy and return to the dangerous and failed "catch and release" policies of Obama. Those policies were tantamount to the open borders law they want enacted (but which they'll never get from voters).

They failed in this bogus strategy, and now they're pissed.
