Yeah, these are all self-proclaimed "patriots" who only want what's best for America and the whole world, eh?

You forgot to mention that they are also paragons of virtue who support Islam.
You can't be both.

I wonder if his supporters even know what to believe out of his mouth anymore.

I'm serious with this question.

Cohen signals openness to cooperating with federal investigators
By Kara Scannell
Updated 11:58 AM ET, Fri June 15, 2018

(CNN)President Donald Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen has indicated to family and friends he is willing to cooperate with federal investigators to alleviate the pressure on himself and his family, according to a source familiar with the matter.

Cohen has expressed anger with the treatment he has gotten from the President, who has minimized his relationship with Cohen, and comments from the President's lawyer Rudy Giuliani, the source said. The treatment has left him feeling isolated and more open to cooperating, the source said.

I think Trump should go for a mental evaluation.

Eloquent he is not.

The obvious follow-up question should have been...

"Can Americans all conclude then that they have no reason to accept as true any statement you make to any mainstream media outlet, press or TV?"

As to mental state, I think it's clear that is undeniably strategic. It's been his pattern all along (more broadly, an ongoing right wing strategy) of denigration of the institutions that can or do stand against his actions.

I really don't think he's suffering some new mental problem. What is suggested here and in the quote I posted earlier is that Trump is a sociopath in the mode of Putin or Stalin or Mussolini or any Mafia kingpin.

Can you name any president who didn't want "his people" at the white house to pay attention when he spoke?

How would anyone know unless he actually stated as much?

On the heels of Paul Manafort being sent to jail, Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani hinted Friday that anyone convicted as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe may be spared by presidential pardons.

“When the whole thing is over, things might get cleaned up with some presidential pardons,” he told the New York Daily News.

His statement came mere hours after Manafort’s bail was revoked and he was ordered to stay in jail until his trial in September.

Not that the strategy here is obvious or anything. All the best people in this crowd, that's fer sure

Basically, when Robert Mueller and what President Trump refers to the "scum on top" of the FBI go down, they're gonna go down hard....

Sure, that’s what glorious leader thinks, and then of course you and the rest of the faithful who remarkably don’t seem to be recognize the ill affects of the whiplash you experience each time to have to pivot to accept the next lie that tumbles out of Glorious Leaders mouth.

Amazing. How some of the people here can say things like "glorious leader" to Trump supporters when Obama was sang about in schools. And after 8 years of the media kissing his ass lie after lie. From healthcare to Iran. To this day they are bent out of shape Killary did not get his third term to continue selling off pieces of our sovereignty, continue enabling Islam, and open the borders to gain voters and secure power and relieve us of our rights.

You lost.

Sad part is, they are so enamored of him, they don't really care what he says, whether it's obscene or not, true or not.

@Sturgis,

Meaningful issues in the 2016 election in something like order of importance:

The peace and safety of the world (Putin had told his military that if Hildabeast won the election, they were basically at war) while Justin Raimondo at antiwar dot com had endorsed Trump due to Trump's long-time adversity to frivolous use of the US military.

The collapse of the Wall St./London banking and monetary system. Donald Trump was the only person in the picture with both the guts and the resources to take on the bankers. Bankers in fact fear DT enough to have had 54 private jets parked at an offshore resort for a stop-Trump-at-any-cost meeting:
https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&q=54+private+jets+georgia+resort+trump&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

Immigration (Hilda, George, and Bork Obunga want a total end to borders and mass importation of what they view as democrat voting blocks, the cost to the nation be damned).

Gangsterism ( Clinton Foundation, pay2play, Clinton body count, murders, rape allegations... http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3426438/posts?page=25#25 )

Treaties and trade deals, returning meaningful industry to the United States.

Racism/victimology ( Soros/BLM, orchestrated riots...)

All of those issues (other issues in the election are relatively minor) strongly mitigated in favor of Donald Trump and against the Hildabeast.

Americans are used to gangsterism and racism; what NOBODY is used to or has ever seen before is nuclear or thermonuclear war and hydrogen bombs going off, that would be a new experience for everybody. Hilda had stated that her first priority on taking office would be to kill Bashir Al Assad and that would have started WW-III.

The ONLY rational reason there was for voting for the Hildeabeast would have been that you are worried about dying of cancer, old age or some other mundane cause, and wasnted to go out in a blaze of glory in some sort of a nuclear holocaust in which the whole human race goes out at the same time.

We had a God-given shot at electing a president who would put Wall St. into an absolute zero-leverage situation and we took it; had we blown that chance and particularly if we had blown it for any sort of an asinine reason, it would not recur in the lifetime of anybody alive today.

There is still the question is all the asshole snowflakes crying because they've just been saved from a nuclear war and holocaust. That is just ******* hard for rational/normal people to understand...

@Sturgis,
I can almost understand not caring about being politically correct or not caring about being obscene....but honesty? And not even the slick-talk political spin that all politicians do, but lying about actual facts.

Saying “I never did that” one week. And “Yeah, I did that, so what” the next.

@maporsche,
Authoritarianism has two facets: (1) the individual who demands subservience of all others and all institutions and (2) that portion of the population who respond positively to an authoritarian leader.

For those in the second category, reality is what their leader says it is. Truthfulness, for them, is established by the allegiance of any individual or group to the leader. Opposition to or criticism of their leader is the evidence of lies being told.
