@blatham,
Because, as usual, you have taken it out of context

Your thesis does have the man's behavior to recommend it.

I haven't been following that story but my brother did pass on a related anecdote. Aside from children, my sympathies are for the the wives of Jr and Sr in this family of ridiculous men. A tempered sympathy but sincere.

You are just sensing my dominance over you, as males. You smartly intuit that I am more manly than yourself. Indeed I am. I am so manly that when I have diarrhea I plug the toilet.

You want a piece of me, Finn?

Really, do you honestly think you make any sense? Are you trying to become a laughing stock? Well you may be on the right track because there is nothing funnier than a tovarich acting insecure because another man made a joke.

Of course I do, this culture is losing its virility. And I see very little manhood, as I would define it, here.

Now as far as your "bad boy" crush, get over it.

while I'm out reading around, thought I'd pop in a tiny bit about the very interesting Conor Lamb situation

https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2018/02/18/conor-lamb-pennsylvania-special-election-profile-217018

Quote:
Lamb, a square-jawed 33-year-old Marine Corps officer who resigned from his job as a federal prosecutor in Pittsburgh to run, has a chance to upend the district’s politics—as long as he can avoid being labeled a liberal without discouraging the district’s not inconsiderable Democrat base from turning out. A devout Catholic, Lamb is pro-union and pro-gun, backs bipartisan deals for fixing Obamacare and the nation’s infrastructure, wants more job training and less college debt, and says he’s pro-fracking but pro-environment, too. And he’s betting that this mix of economic populism and moderate social politics can win the predominantly blue collar district.

longish interesting piece from a month before the special

his approach (not platform) reads like the PA version of Beto O'Rourke - who I am absolutely fascinated by

So in other words, the Democrats are nominating people who think just like me.

That's a good step forward for the Democratic Party. Now, how long before the new guys force the Democrats to stop trying to violate the Second Amendment?

I can't wait. I'll buy 20 copies.

I'm especially keen to see what McCabe has to say. I honestly don't understand why Trump treats the intell community and Justice department in such a shabby fashion. Justice and DOD keep his butt safe and do everything possible to protect the country. He's been in office 14 months and brags about lying to the Canadian Prime Minister to impress a group of yahoos. Maybe he could get away with this thuggish behaviour while he was involved in bogus real estate and money laundering activities......because he is totally unprincipled has no sense of decency and is probably a third rate sadist..but now every single intelligence/justice/secret service employee will be drifting thru their normal duties and Trump better hope they don't get too demoralized and sloppy and somehow miss something important. That would be a heartbreak, wouldn't it? And in the meantime, every other executive in the US can't launch a public hate campaign against an employee (like Trump's freaking twitter bullshit) without being fired or sued or generally being shunned. I think we should bring back shunning.

@glitterbag,
Trump attorney accuses Stormy Daniels of violating nondisclosure agreement 20 times, claims right to seek $20 million in damages
Quote:
Michael Cohen, President Trump’s personal attorney, claims he has the right to seek at least $20 million in damages from porn star Stormy Daniels for allegedly violating a nondisclosure agreement 20 times.

A lawyer for Cohen’s limited liability corporation, Essential Consultants, made the claim in papers filed in federal court Friday.

Cohen also intends to force the dispute with Daniels, who alleges she was secretly paid to keep quiet about an affair with the president, out of the public eye and back into private arbitration, according to the court filing.

In a separate document also filed Friday, a lawyer representing Trump said he intends to join the push to return the proceedings to arbitration, in which all proceedings are confidential.

Michael Avenatti, a lawyer for Daniels, said the threat by Cohen and Trump to pursue millions of dollars in damages, and their efforts to take the matter behind closed doors, amounted to bullying of his client.

“To put it simply — they want to hide the truth from the American people. We will oppose this effort at every turn,” Avenatti wrote in an email. “The fact that a sitting president is pursuing over $20 million in bogus ‘damages’ against a private citizen, who is only trying to tell the public what really happened, is truly remarkable. Likely unprecedented in our history. We are not going away and we will not be intimidated by these threats.”

@Walter Hinteler,
Other than the mouth breathers who still worship Trump, this 20 million dollar claim is not going to go smoothly with the rest of the country. This ridiculous man wants to move the suit to a Federal court in California (Trump appoints the federal judges) (can you say corruption).

So now that Jeff Sessions made a Hail Mary pass to save his job and fired Andrew McCabe 2 hours short of his retirement....does anyone really think this will save Sessions? I don't think it will, I don't know how many more weeks he can hang on...but when you serve Caligula every minute is a gamble.

Interestingly, Caligula was known for sleeping with a man's wife then bragging about it to his face. Sort of a pre- electronic Access Hollywood video.

@Blickers,
I know!!! Caligula was a despicable, cruel individual who when very young pulled the wings off flies (maybe birds too) set 3 week old kittens on fire and cheated in golf.

I don't understand why I'm the only member who saw the similarity.
