@ehBeth,
Just saw that. Apparently there are a bunch of people at the center of Trump world who are pleading guilty. It's the oddest thing. We need a good conspiracy theory to flesh this out properly.

Both men performed lucrative work for the pro-Russian government in Ukraine, and that when that work dried up, they allegedly resorted to fraud and money laundering, according to previous court charges.
That's very interesting. I'd risk a wager that this type of crime is what has Trump so fearful.

You are in charge of that, Bernie. You swallowed the completely lame, totally fatuous US Government Official Conspiracy Theory [USGOCT] with no thought whatsoever so who better than to do an new one.

You can easily find many able assistants.

This superseding indictment against Paul Manafort shows:

-Mueller knows a lot that we don't know
-Manafort faces a significant risk of dying in prison of old age
-Any rational person in the position of Manafort would seek a plea deal sooner rather than later.Ted Lieu added,

Quote:
In the wake of the Valentine’s Day shooting in Parkland, Florida last week, students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School have emerged as fierce advocates on gun safety, speaking out and organizing on the issue where adults have clearly failed.

Many now see high school students as a sleeping giant that has been awakened by this tragedy, and now billionaire progressive activist Tom Steyer just announced his plan to mobilize them nationally this November with a $1 million voter registration drive.

Quote:
This comes on the heels of news that Gabby Giffords’s gun violence prevention group, Giffords, raised $1.2 million to help advocate for stricter gun control measures.

This is all great Lash. You don't need to convince me that the kid was messed up. I'm asking you, what LAWS did the kid break that would have allowed the local police, or the FBI to remove his guns from his home?

Being a whack-job is completely legal in America. And especially surrounding guns, there are a lot of whack-jobs.

Police can't put surveillance on this kid for months and months and months without some sort of crime being committed, can they?

You're quite right, and that is as it should be. You can't have your home invaded because some neighbor thinks you're some kind of nut job.

Just because I agree doesn't mean I have a solution. Some people are obviously nuts, but they do have the same rights as everyone else till some court judges them to be incompetent.

It has happened myriad times, roger. The always lying US governments invades the homes, not to mention the entire country, of so many peoples around the world.

Why should the average American be safe from this but not the people of sovereign nations?

Can you explain to us all how you [and many others] can be such incredible hypocrites?

And it is quite reasonable to think that most of this response would not have happened without those kids getting active and refusing to be cowed. They are taking their responsibilities as citizens (and as caring humans) with passion and I love them for it.
