@revelette1,
Quote: It was not clear why Mr. Mueller treated Mr. Bannon differently than the dozen administration officials who were interviewed in the final months of last year and were never served with a subpoena.
I think it's quite clear, eh? No doubt Bannon, along with Trump, was one Mueller promised to bring charges against before he was hired, eh? Trump wouldn't give him the FBI Director job he was anglin for, based largely on Bannon's advice.
Quote:The subpoena could be a negotiating tactic. Mr. Mueller is likely to allow Mr. Bannon to forgo the grand jury appearance if he agrees to instead be questioned by investigators in the less formal setting of the special counsel’s offices in Washington.
Exactly. If a grand jury actually heard what Bannon has to say, they would never indict. Mueller can't have that. He wants to get Bannon out of their sight, then pack **** he never said into one of their 302 memos.
As with Hillary, they will NOT allow the interrogation to be recorded and there will be no transcript to prove what was ACTUALLY said.
