Top Pennsylvania Republicans Are Fighting Like Hell To Keep Gerrymandering Secret

...As leaders of the Pennsylvania legislature, Turzai and Scarnati played key roles in producing an electoral map that the Brennan Center for Justice has called one of the worst gerrymanders in the country. The 2012 election, the first using the new boundaries, saw the Republicans win 13 of the state’s 18 seats in the U.S. House, even though the party won just 49 percent of the statewide vote. The GOP has been able to hang on to that extreme majority even though its share of the statewide vote has only crept up in subsequent elections.

SCARY >> In 2010, the top 100 individual donors gave $73 million to federal candidates. In 2016, they gave over $900 million.

That's a BIG DANGER to our democracy & helps explains why the tax bill lavishes so many goodies on corporations & the 1%.

Heh, what a joke. McCabe poses no threat to Trump whatsoever, for any number of reasons, e.g., he can't claim he was there, but, more importantly, there's nothing wrong with such a request to begin with.

Every president wants loyalty, not a subversive, back-stabbing traitor like McCabe, who is plotting your impeachment while he pretends to be on your side. A president should want disloyalty, right. Someone who will make up lies about you, tell them to newspapers as a supposed "leaks," who will then print them because you're in a position of authority on the inside.

McCabe obviously lied to congress, and much of his testimony was contradicted by others. That's just one reason why he's being attacked. He didn't recuse himself from the Hillary email case; he helped devise an "insurance" policy against Trump becoming/being President by trying to frame him. He offered to pay Steele $50,000 with taxpayers money to get dirt on Trump, etc.

He won't retire. He will be fired first. That's a (counter) attack, sure. One richly deserved. He should have been fired long ago.

Spicer was weak and poor at his job. A flunky, sure.

But Conway is articulate, smart, and very good at her job. Sure, she takes, supports, and defends Trump's side of it. That's her job, and a sense of loyalty is required to do it well. Cheese-eaters hate her for that very reason--she supports Trump and she's good at her job.

Can you believe Mitch McConnell actually said this? He did.

I guess you should at least be congratulated for being true to type, Jack. Like very other cheese-eater known to man, any and every thing you don't agree with is summarily dismissed as "nonsense" and/or a "lie."

Keep on truckin.

@layman,
I don't have that much sympathy for someone who was a traitor to his country and those who try to make heroes of them. I'm rather surprised you do.

If you say that 1,000 more times, LOUDER, you might convince me that it has to be true.

Then again, maybe not.
