There is no gray area. Americans have the right to carry guns for self defense when they go about in public.

That's what happens when humans discuss things. The topic of interest may center around a main theme, but the subject meanders as other subjects temporarily become interesting for a time.

The left is hypocritical that way. It's a variation of the way they want the law to apply to everyone else, but want to be above the law themselves. They want this thread to always focus on harming people who disagree with them, and never focus on anything that will harm them.
I advise not paying any attention to complaints of that nature.
