@blatham,
Quote:
What's Trump doing here? First and most obviously, he is aligning himself with Putin against the other US political party. Does anyone think that is normal? Implicit here is an unstated theme that Putin's ideas more closely represent "real America" than do Democratic ideas.

Normal has left the US when Trump won the republican primary and then the general election. I am afraid, we have rapidly arrived at a new acceptable normal in the US which is scary.

@revelette1,
0bama's dangerous trickle down misery was this nations normal, but that all changed when the people elected Trump. The future looks bright after 8 long dark years of liberal progressive democrat caused oppression.

I here as of February 1st, all liberals will have to wear a white snowflake on the left chest of any other garment and display a placard with a white snowflake in the window of all liberal owned businesses.

@blatham,
The sources on this absolutely suck. I am really asking a question. The only people who seemed to try to investigate this was fox that I could find, and Fox wasn't allowed access into the town. The rest of the sources just say it's "restricted".

http://www.listmyfive.com/b519cd99/The-Top-Five-Islamberg-Facts

It's really hard to find any information on this at all, unless your looking at info wars or some crap. I don't really buy into the crap I'm reading, but what the hell does restricted mean? Can they refuse access into their town and not let people in?

Here's something from CBS NEWS.

@tony5732,
Yeah, that source you link is pretty much valueless given that the charges leveled are not sourced. Jihad Watch (linked in the piece) is not a credible source of information. The wikipedia source is fine but carries no information suggesting anything untoward in this community. But the second graph below demonstrates that misinformation of the hate-Muslims sort has clearly been flowing through some sort of media on the right.
Quote:
A number of organizations have made unsubstantiated claims that the community is a terrorist training camp with bunkers, automatic weapons and an airfield.[5][2] Al Arabiya debunked these claims in the first media visit to Islamberg in 20 years.[2] Law enforcement representatives have spoken on the record refuting these allegations, and attesting to the peaceful nature of the hamlet.[5][2][3]

In April 2015, a Tennessee man, Robert Doggart, was arrested for allegedly plotting an attack on Islamberg.[6][7] In November 2015, Jon Ritzheimer, of
Phoenix, Arizona, made news for threatening an attack on Islamberg.[8]

As to "restricted", quite likely that's so. But there are thousands of gated communities in America and enclaves of various sorts that have restrictions on entry, etc. There's nothing unusual in this. And one can easily understand why these people would be careful. But even the Fox piece linked in wikipedia gives a benign take on the place (though with far too much of a nod to suspicions that have little or no warrant).

Because it is the season, can we get real for a moment.

Jesus could not have been born in Bethlehem or anywhere near that spot. If he had been, he would have looked like this

But he didn't look like that. Jesus looked like this

Clearly, Jesus was born somewhere in Denmark.

@blatham,
You can do better than that! Lets see a comparison of what the Muslims worship and a picture of what he may have actually looked like. Just like you did for Jesus.

@George,
Appreciate it. I really don't think these people are terrorists. I just want to understand the concept of a grocery store people can't go to in a country where people are getting sued for not selling cakes...

@blatham,
Hmmmm, Apples and Oranges Blatham. You've taken a modern artists interpretation to show Jesus as some kind of , what did you say, Dane? Yet you find a much older rendition of Muhammad... I assume he's the one in the middle holding what could be a head?

You could have used this image for Jesus

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/rtmjwXf28Zs/hqdefault.jpg

Instead you chose what you believed would be the most insulting image when compared to what could be a more "actual" representation of men of that region at that time.

Why? Just to insult those on A2K that may be Christian on Christmas Eve?
