@Lash,

I have tried to follow the logic of my secret Republicanism. If my secret goal was to pull Democrats away from Clinton to get Trump elected, wouldn't I have thrown the most insufferable crow party with nanny-nanny-boo-boos, declaring victory incessantly across the forum?

Would I be the first member here to predict his impeachment?

Tovarich, not all of us have been fooled

You didn't crow about Trump's victory, because as an agent of Putin your mission has never actually been to promote the new president, it's to disrupt this forum and the efforts of notable champions of freedom and democracy to educate their followers on the virtues of the Democrat Party. Old Vlad knows full well that he had a lot more to fear from Obama and Clinton than he ever did from Bush and Trump, and now that his intervention in our election has been brought to light by The Resistance, he may even share your prediction about impeachment. Hell, he's so crafty, he might be the source of all of the information that is casting the revealing light. If the soft coup succeeds it will turn this country upside down and, as we all know, that has been his primary goal, not the election of Donald J Trump.

Still, dumping Trump could embolden and empower the Democrats and assist them in regaining power in DC. Putin can't have that, and so you and other FSB agents here in American are doing all you can to smear the one group he most fears: Establishment Democrats with corporate backing.

As a true socialist, izzy is of course able to recognize that you are not a fellow traveler, but he mistakes you for a Trump supporter so it appears he's been fooled. You need to be careful of emmett though, he seems to have a nose for deceptive Russian rhetoric.

I, of course, am an agent for The Bilderberg Group which is why I am aware of your secret identity as well as the fact that Layman is actually a operative for the Kokuryūkai (Black Dragon Society) which was reborn during the presidency of George H. W. Bush as the Asian arm of the Bilderberg Group. A2K members might see through Layman's disguise of a rural African-American blues singer, but they surely have no idea of who is behind it: The great-granddaughter of Imperial Japanese Army Lieutenant Colonel Kingoro Hashimoto, who founded, in 1930, the ultra-nationalist secret society Sakurakai.

Interesting Sidenote: Remember Bushu-suru? When President Bush got sick while visiting Japan and fainted after vomiting in the lap of the Japanese PM Kiichi Miyazawa? That was actually an assassination attempt by a Japanese Antifa cell. Bush was in the home of Miyazawa for what was billed as state event for 135 diplomats. Actually it was a joint meeting of senior leaders of the Bilderburg Group and the Kokuryūkai.

Obviously the Antifa got wind of the meeting and was able to poison the president's meal by improperly preparing his Fugu. The plot was foiled thanks to a supercharged immune system all of the Bilderberg Group leaders have as a result of highly secret medical treatments that are being withheld from the rest of the world's people.

Immediately after the incident, a member of an Antifa cell in Idaho, J. E. Smith, called CNN posing as the president's physician and announced (incorrectly as it turned out) that Bush had died. A CNN employee entered the information into a centralized computer used by both CNN and sister network CNN Headline News, and Headline News nearly aired it before it could be verified. Smith was subsequently questioned by the Secret Service and hospitalized at a private medical facility for evaluation. Needless to say, he never left the facility... alive.

BTW: Our missions coincide on several levels with one being the defamation of the Democrat Party which is why members here will see us, from time to time, agreeing with each other. While the Bilderberg Group sees Putin, in many ways, a natural ally, he's not the type of man who is willing to be subservient to anyone and so we may at some point become cross wise here.

Anyway, I used to think some people here might actually believe the crazy conspiracy theory that I'm a devious Republican operative with Russian tendencies.

Used to think? Clearly some do.

Don't worry though about how blatantly I've revealed our secrets. No one will ever believe any of this! Hiding in plain sight. Ain't it grand?

@ossobucotemp,

Trump probably thought it was oh-so-clever to answer North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's nuclear provocations with a taste of the dictator's own apocalyptic language, threatening "fire and fury like the world has never seen." It sounded like a playground taunt, reflecting the president's emotional immaturity.
That Trump is emotionally immature is a given. His threat was surely not directed at NK (I don't think he's the sort of stupid that would imagine any effect from such a statement just as Pence isn't the sort of stupid to imagine glowering across the border would be more effective than farting across it). It's for public consumption. For rousing the base (much of whom are that sort of stupid).

But the style/content of Trump's threat reminded me of Saddam's rhetoric and boasts ("mother of all battles"). And after all, they both had/have palaces they're really proud of.

A historical precedent that goes a long way to demonstrating why we ought to accept Trump's statements about possible collusion, his innocence in any related matters, and the malicious motivations of the press pushing their fake news smears.

Quote:
In August 7, 1973, the Wall Street Journal published a startling story: Spiro Agnew, elected in 1968 as Richard Nixon’s Vice-President, was under investigation for tax evasion, bribery, and various corrupt practices, most dating back to 1967, when Agnew became the governor of Maryland. Agnew’s first reaction was a relatively restrained statement: “I am under investigation for possible violations of the criminal statutes,” he said, adding, “I am innocent of any wrongdoing.”
Then, at a press conference a day later, Agnew called the allegations “damned lies,” as well as “false and scurrilous and malicious”; he certainly wasn’t going to resign. A few days after that, he said, “I will fight, I will fight to prove my innocence,” and over the next sixty-five days he never stopped attacking leaks and fighting what he called “smear publicity.”

Do get what is going on here.
Quote:
EPA chief Scott Pruitt’s attacks on mainstream climate science are causing discomfort in a surprising corner — among many of the conservative and industry groups that have cheered his efforts to dismantle Barack Obama’s environmental regulations.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, political groups backed by the Koch brothers and the top lobbying organizations for the coal, oil, natural gas and power industries are among those so far declining to back Pruitt’s efforts to undermine the scientific consensus on human-caused climate change, according to more than a dozen interviews by POLITICO. Some advocates privately worry that the debate would politically harm moderate Republicans, while wasting time and effort that’s better spent on the Environmental Protection Agency’s regulatory rollback.

...“Policy risks could arise from playing politics,” said Chrissy Harbin, vice president of external affairs for Americans for Prosperity, a major conservative group backed by the industrialist brothers Charles and David Koch. “If done incorrectly, efforts that are more politically motivated than policy-focused could unintentionally undermine conservatives' ability to roll back overreaching Obama-era regulations.”
Politico
What they are saying is, "Don't make noise. Don't publicly frame this as a battle between GW science and denial of the science. Don't make this an issue that get's lots of coverage and which increases debate and public awareness. We just want the regulations eviscerated. That's the goal. Media coverage and public awareness and debate may well produce barriers and problems for us in our goal. So shut the **** up and just change the laws while no one is paying much attention."

In a pugnacious speech on Wednesday evening before thousands of supporters, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, embroiled in graft investigations, railed against 'the left' and 'the media that serves it,' contending that they had ganged up to overthrow him.
Sounds oddly familiar. There must be some word that appropriately describes men like Bibi, Mitchell and Trump.

Yes, I believe there is. It's "corruptselfservingbigotednarcissisticevil", though I think I may have left out a couple syllables.

@layman,
But...but...blatham admires his posts more than anyone else's...including his own!

Of course there was a reason he didn't call his state by name.

And it wasn't because he didn't want to scare his fellow liberals from joining him in the Trumpland Hell Hole he's somehow found himself in.

And it wasn't because he didn't want to malign his neighbors.

And it wasn't because he was afraid he would reveal his location to the FBI (At least I don't think it was)

So what's left?

And thus my question to him...

EX-GOP SENATOR CALLS TRUMP 'SICK OF MIND' AND ASKS CONGRESS TO DUMP HIM
Quote:
"As a citizen, former U.S. senator, and twelve-year member of the Armed Services Committee, I urge you to act [at] once. Donald Trump should be relieved of the powers of the presidency at the earliest date,” the open letter from the former New Hampshire lawmaker added.

Humphrey said a Commission on Presidential Capacity could potentially remove Trump under Article 25 of the Constitution, which states the vice president should assume the role of president if he and a congressional majority believe the president is unable to discharge his duties.
