Hey timber, it is good to see you as well as to be seen.

I share your sentiments re: Craven and it looks like jespah, fishin and Phoenix are also actively engaged.

What a dream team!

By the way NewHaven, are you serious re: your change of attitude and change of political latitude?

I am intrigued.

Well, I am somewhat, and I emphasize somewhat more liberal. You do sometimes find yourself in a position that's hard to argue your way out of.

That's akaRoger, Dadeo, just by the way.

Am I allowed here?
As one of the resident conservatives on abuzz, and as one that has had many civilized disagreements with some of you, I must ask...Am I allowed here? I sure hope so.I havent been on abuzz much due to my work, but I have missed many of you. I will try and live up to the standards here, but if I dont you all have permission to give me 20 lashes with a wet noodle Laughing

Mysteryman- IMO what we are looking for here are discussions and interactions from people of any and all persuasions- whether the discussions be political, religious, or whatever.

What is NOT wanted are diatribes, monologues and shouting matches.

One of the main reasons that I am here is to listen and learn from all points of view!

Phoenix,
I never was the type to post diatribes, thats not my style.
I joined abuzz because of its basic premise, but it went downhill rapidly.So...here I am.
Dont worry,I dont bite...I only nibble

Welcome, Mysteryman. We need some civilized controversy here. I get tired patting everybody on the back because I sooo agree with their opinions. A different point of view, well articuilated, is a consummation devoutly to be desired.

I try to be reasonable, except I dont suffer fools gladly.
But,I hate being serious all the time, its no fun.
Dont worry, you wont have much to pat me on the back about, except when I burp.
Then I welcome a pat on the back.
