When did you join A2K (or Abuzz)?

I think I started using Abuzz around 2000 (but I can't quite remember exactly) and I've been following the system ever since.

It's hard to believe it's coming up on 10 years. I hate to think how many things I must have written, probably could have produced a book by now.

I joined summer-fall (also can't remember exactly, just know that I was still pregnant and sozlet wasn't born until the winter) of 2000. (Abuzz.)

Joined Abuzz in Dezember 1999 and started posting there a couple of weeks later in 2000.

Here, I joined in September 2002.

There was something called Beehive that was local to Boston -- it was supposed to connect experts within fields, an early social networking thing. (Like, if you're in the insurance industry and face an insurance-specific problem, you'd ask a question and someone else in the insurance industry would help.)

The New York Times bought the Beehive software and tried to monetize it and failed. They put a lot of resources into it around the time we joined -- I remember seeing full-page ads on the NYT.

I was a member of Abuzz, since I think around 1999. This was after it had been around perhaps one year..maybe less.

Been a member on A2K since Nov 22, 2002.

I started lurking on Abuzz in early 2000, but i didn't post until spring or summer 2000. I came there in a truly round about way. I was reading at another bulletin board, and someone suggested looking for some info (can't remember what) at the site of The Times. There, if found a link to the New York Times, and happened to see a link there to Abuzz.

I got an e-mail from Jespah (who had, if i recall, a sort of an Abuzz members master list of some kind) to join here, but didn't sign up until October, 2002.

According to Alexa, Abuzz was first registered on August 13, 1996.
