How many times can we go against statistical predictions? Everyone knows the sox are a better team than the yanks.

Wo- Take a lesson from edgar and Roberta on how to crow without rubbing noses in it. My God man! You're gonna jinx your team!

I don't believe it's time to crow.

Again, there are certain constants in the Universe.

It is not crowing to state what is obvious.

When Sandman enters - the game is over.

The only thing that has happened so far is the home team saved home field.

The Dead Sox are as capable of defending their home turf.

This series is far from over. Yet I wonder where those people are who said the Yanks starters "stink".

Again, as I have said, you do not need great pitchers to win a short series. You need pitchers who can pitch great.

Last night, Leiber was great. Sandmand entered, game over.

I mistakenly thought it was a 7 game series and the Yankee starters are disproving their critics fer sure

Panzade - It is a max 7 game series. First team to 4 wins. But, somehow I think you knew that.

Who the #$#* is the Sandman? If it's Rivera, seems to me he's blown a few saves in the recent past, including the World Series.

While I know NYY fans love to rub Boston fans' noses in the aftermath of each of these series, the bottom line for NYY is winning the World Series. Anything less means failure...

what a friggin' time for the sawx bats to slip into a coma Evil or Very Mad
they made lieber, an average pitcher, look like clemens jr...

pedro made one mistake -- the pitch olerud crushed...

schilling's ankle is far worse than originally thought when he misstepped going to first against the angels last week...

I don't consider it failure to make the World Series and then get beaten, particularly where the Yankees are concered. For some teams it's now or never, but for them there will always be a tomorrow.

I just love watching the Yanks in October, no matter how far they get. And they're almost always there. It's one of the coolest things about living in New York.

D'art, I'm not rubbing anybody's nose in anything. Not my idea of a sports person. If the Yankees win, I'm happy. If they lose, I'm disappointed. And if they lose, it's because the other team played better. SImple as that.

kickycan, I envy your not being old enough to have gone through the Dan Topping and CBS ownership years (late 60's and early 70's) when the mighty Yankees imploded from rotten management. Thanks to our "savior", the much despised George Steinbrenner, things were turned around to give you, me, and other Yankee fans the joy you are now experiencing.
