Should be an interesting weekend, since all the cards (including the Wild Card) are still on the AL table...

Astros and Yankees -
Would love to see them in a series. Not this year, I know. Maybe in two or four years, though.

We can do it!
down 2-1 We can pull this off. Only a 3 year yankee fan. Life time NY Giants fan here. As long as we can have a strong start to tommorow's game. The first 3 innings are key.

GO YANKS!

I want the Yanks to take it all, of course. Just that, being an Astros fan, I'm used to getting bit.

With Mo pitching, it will go five games. I hope. It used to be a lock, but right now I don't want to put the whammy on it by mentioning it. But I already did. So what. I feel confident. They have this game.

Hard to argue with slappy this year - unless the yankees suddenly show some new life, that is.

Let's see if Redneck Randy can keep the Angels at bay...Yanks are in a deficit, like what I see.

The big mullet has stopped the Yankee bleeding for now.
Hoping the Angels can get to that weak bull pen soon.

this makes the sawx sweep a little easier to swalla... go 'stros!

dunno about the mets next year, LTX.
they'll have a promising but inexperienced infield with wright, reyes, (maybe) hernandez, and jacobs.
piazza's done/gone, so they need someone to stop the ball from rolling to the backstop.
the pitching's in decent shape -- although looper was loopy all year.
i just can't see manny patrolling left at shea -- can you say "dave kingman"? Laughing

I wonder if Mr. Torre will lose his position. After all, what is it, 5 years now that the Yankees are outta the World Series?

If so -- speculate speculate speculate -- who would replace him? Where would he go? And would any new Yankee skipper be selected via Donald Trump's Apprentice show? If so, will the neatness code (e. g. no facial hair, not even the big centerfielder, Abe Lincoln, could have a beard Smile) be amended to allow combovers?
