It's alright, though. This has been an incredible experience as so many people here have been revealed as fakes. All these years, I thought so many people here were legitimate liberals... I don't know what word social commentary will eventually hang on you Hillary or Die people who fucked the election, but I'll be sure you hear it soon and often.

Its okay Lash I supported you.

Yeah you cant come out and say you are socialist.

Which is just effective brainwashing. We have people here ranting about the red peril again. It never left their subconscience, I guess.

The most successful western capitalist nations embraced social policies ages ago.

Is Hillary the first-ever candidate to not give a losing speech?

@Builder,
Well you know she's very frail... They say that she'll give a concession speech tomorrow morning... She's probably suffering from a case of apoplexy... LOL hahahaha

Or, in transit to the Caymans to collect her "winnings" before blending in with the natives somewhere in the southern hemisphere.

@Builder,
I think John Kerry blew it off the night of the election, but spoke the next day.

They say the Clintons hadn't even entertained the possibility of losing, so they didn't have a concession speech prepared.

Hubris

She speaks tomorrow.

I'm sure Chelsea will pop her head up in a few years if they aren't all in prison.

@Lash,
With her involvement in Bill Clinton Inc. she will already have the Hillary unfavorable tattoo, not a chance.

If I was all ya'll I would be gloating too. Now we have to live with a Trump presidency for the next four years. Coming after a class act like Obama who has made me proud, it will be a disappointment. I only hope he doesn't take my insurance away.

On another note I guess Nate Silver knew what he was talking about. I knew my stomach was getting in knots for a reason. This morning I am eating dry toast.

A fascinating and, for me, reassuring result in the election. I'll confess that I doubted that Trump could win. We were all beset by the cant of self-appointed "progressive" savants, sure they alone know what is good for the rest of us, and the drumbeat of Hillary's lies and cynical pandering, together with the resonance of a fawning media, firmly convinced of the merits of already discredited policies and candidates.

I was also early on convinced that Hillary would indeed withdraw her candidacy, shamed by the exposure of her self-serving corruption - an idea that seems ludicrous now, given the vortex of lies and self-delusion that finally gripped her. My judgment was wrong on that matter, but I am happy with the result.

It will be interesting to see what unfolds next. I hope that the resounding vox populi that we have just heard clarifies the situation for most observers here. However, the thumbing down pattern so evident in the last few pages of this thread indicates there may be a lot of anger and denial out there for many. I think it is important that we recognize that we all inhabit the same world, despite the clash of ideas and opinions. Life is an often disorderly struggle, but it goes on despite the clash of our often exaggerated opinions. The world is a good deal more complex than the abstract theories about which we argue so incessantly, and we should not judge each other based only on them.

Yeah, this thumbs-down thing shows nothing more than disgruntled Hillary advocates with nothing more left above water than their thumbs.

@Glennn,
All they have. Thumbs.

I have a question: Were the polls just all very wrong - or were they massaged by Clinton-influenced pollsters? How could they be so wrong?

Why were the polls so deadly wrong in the UK (Brexit), or in Columbia? Clinton-influenced pollsters as well?
