Neverending Rap Battle

Believe me before i started rapping i feel ashamed to say i used to listen to soulja boy and wayne, not passionatly but occasionally. Now if i hear soulja boy i switch it straight off, and wayne is probably the best of the wack emcees, but that does not mean hes good. Where i live in london the game is coming up so fast its going to be as big as the US scene, u may have seen Chris Brown and Chipmunks song Champion, Chipmunk started at 16 and was good until he turned **** and poppy now he is the most hated artists to come out of england. My point is the standards in london of good emcees compared to famous american rappers is far greater, i can walk 5 minutes down the street and find a better rapper than wayne but hes still living in the hood whereas that bitch is getting millions for being awful at rap. The game is fucked up, i guarentee everybody on here is better than atleast one millionairre rapper. The industry needs to change big time like before when it was about skill not appeal.

That's exactly what my problem was! I was not alliterate much either, I try and work through the sluring as much as possible, as most of my raps I record are fast raps, as I look up to em and yela. That's the reason I don't post my lyrics I write for the studio much and that's why I don't release my studio work because I got a lot to learn about quick flows. I still haven't found my voice yet either, as in rapping and for my hooks. It's a downfall for me BIG TIME!

Any street corner in any big city over here has a rapper that's better than alot of these mainstream crap artists but they never get access to studios time to record demos nobody ever gave them a shot so there stuck on the corner rappin for a few extra bucks it's a sad thing When talent gets wasted

Definantly is i just made a studio with my friends can any of you reccomend the audio technica at2035 microphoe? i think im going to buy it. and @Bambino i am a speed rapper, certain things i can speed rap very well, very well indeed. but i cant just speed rap any line.

yh bro me and my friends are nearly finished in his bedroom making a studio, the location is not great..a bedroom, but we got decent equipment and ****, we have cubase 5, all the little stuff like pop filters and mic stands, and im thinking of buying the audio technixa 2035 which is apparently a really good mic, i have noo soundproofing though which is annoying, but we have an audio interface to power the mic also so idk i think we are ready.
