The doctors saved him we got him back he told us his life was on a new track
Things were goin good for a while 
I think I acctually saw my dad smile 
Then he lost his job went back to that bad place and it put me in tears
My dad being back in the hospital was one of my greatest fears
But it happened and I had to deal with it no matter how much it hurt
I felt alone stranded in a desert
He finally came home and I could tell he was better 
But life is still hard when every morning there's fear of a suicide letter
Then somethin else happened and things got worse 
Bad things always happen to me what is this a curse 
mom got sick had a heart attack
She flatlined then came back 
I may not show it but it hurts deep inside
If I told u I'm fine then I probably lied
But even with all these bad times I never even thought of pickin up that knife
Cuz I know I can make somethin of myself even with such a bad life

I got a cousin with his own studio he's mad busy though and I have a friend that could prob make some beats for me if I pull a few favors I might be able to get in I'll work it out a few tips though bout the mixtape
1. Promote the **** outta that thing like put it on as many websites as possible
2. Make as many CDs as possible and put stacks in random places you nay not get money but it gets ur name out there
3. Put up some YouTube videos i mean even though I hate justin bieber it worked for him look at him now
4. Send that **** to as many radio stations as possible the more people hear it the better chance somebody important hears it
