From Dagens Nyheter this morning the 26th
Hela 450.000 kondomer – 42 stycken per tävlande – kommer att delas ut till de aktiva inför idrottsfesten.

42 is a reasonable number for athletes.
The Mexican olympic health kit has only 8 condoms, and I was getting worried.
50 is a good, safe, number.

As a journalist, not as an athlete

I thought you are a journalist now. So, it's been ongoing since 92?

It's been ongoing since I was 10, and "edited" a one page paper with 4-5 carbon copies, one worse than the other.

After that, a "neighborhood paper" at 14, and "underground papers" at 15 to 19.

I was 17 the first time an article of mine was in a magazine that was actually sold at a newstand. April 1972

Professionally, since 1982. Full time, since 1989.

I was gonna post "now I send people elsewhere", but heck I did that in 1992, also. Only I sent myself to the Olympics.

In 1992, my envoy in Yugoslavia was kidnapped twice by the warring factions. Came back with a couple of great stories about his captors (who really only wanted him to give their side of the war).

My thought would be no, but maybe that's just me...
