The Democrats have stayed on the floor trying to force a vote. MSNBC reports that the Republican are planning on re-entering the House to attempt to call it off. Do you think we might see a fist fight tonight or just some pushing, shoving and name calling.
I also like John Lewis, I doubt much of anything will be accomplished by this sit-in, but it appeals to me. If only because they are actually trying to get the House to do it's freaking job.
Gridlock is not going to change with this congress.
Here's a whole slew of articles on our broken congress. They're a bunch of children with their playground antics while our country suffers. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/news/congress-gridlock/
I know! I would have thought I'd be kinda jaded and immune to any John Lewis oratory - I'd heard it all, kind of thing. But he gave me a couple of chills too.

US House sit-in
Connecticut Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty tells us why she's joined dozens of other Democrats to demand action on gun control — by staging a sit-in.
very well-spoken

In sit-ins isn't the army or police called in to shoot the protesters or don't you do that any more?
