Help!!! I am so bored I can't see straight, I have power...I could be working on my music or scripts or whatver but somehow a malaise sits in that you don't feel like doing anything but watching TV, netsurfing, eating and sleeping, I think I have gained TEN pounds...afraid to get on the scale...looks like Miami will miss the worst of this anyway.

Just checking in. Bored is good, Harper. The palm trees shown on TV are sure getting thrashed... and there are some big waves.

I was looking at CNN Headline News... which I would otherwise never watch, but they're great for disasters.

Lots of people in Miami-Dade (surely suffering cabin fever like me) are ignoring warnings and going out. As bored as I am, I got to much to live for....

About 7 or 8 pages of postings today, but I don't expect we'll hear from any of our FL friends tonight or tomorrow. Frances is moving so damn slowly. 110 mph winds and the prospect of a huge amount of rain as it hits land at W Palm Beach. Electricity already out in many areas.

Been watching CNN for the past few hours and they expect it will be 2 days before it moves out of Florida and it will be quite some time before all the power will be restored, so I don't think we'll be hearing from anyone over there any time soon. I hope everyone gets through this ok.

Let us all light a virtual candle and hold a quiet vigil for all our friends in Florida. http://www.msnusers.com/_Secure/0SQDmAucWhmCakTyehdOUx2S*DbrXDTGmZivV2cIfkrR!Q9HQVWYxCWJIi6XmL8PxFg2uH1XwfyGtNQk780WpuMc*0TNcvVKSpyylSPSCGlg322YMRJEz8Q/candle.gif
