Thanks for reviving this thread. I forgot it existed. I just took a gander through the list of names here. I'm smiling.

My BF and I have 2 cats. We have a girl cat and her name is Sky and she is a fat cat, so sometimes we call her "fat mamma" and "turkey". Our other cat is a boy and he is small, his name is reaper (he is all black) so sometimes I call him "lil' baby" and my BF calls him his pain in the ass
.
So many names...
Best cat name had to be Arthur...or maybe it was Mr.Frizzles... both sadly gone now.

@ossobuco,
A very extensive and endearing list, osso. Thanks for adding it here.
From the day I started this thread (those many years ago), I was amazed at the pet names people have come up with and their openness about sharing them.
@Roberta,
Did I already mention that Spooky the cat sometimes comes out as Sputtycat, and sometimes as Spookydoodle?
Nermal is often Nermal Dermal. I have no idea why.
@roger,
Roger, Why is irrelevant. Nermal Dermal sounds poifect to me.
@littlek,
I wonder the pronunciation perhaps a bit more complicated.
I just reread this whole thread - what a pleasure.
