We just got home from the avian vet, Caesar had his wings and nails clipped. Attitude adjustment!, When we take him in he's sweet as pie for about a week Razz

He's learned quite a few new words, however he has also learned how to bark like the dogs! Razz

He hasn't learned many new words, only a few like "give me a kiss" and he makes this kissing sound, oh and he has learned to bark at the dogs Razz

We’ve had this crazy bird for over two years now. I’ve read they become attached to one person and that seems to be the case with Caesar. He has attached himself to Alicia, he’s hers and only hers.

Uh oh. Our dog's best friend was put on a diet last week. Aggie has to lose more than Bella weighs Shocked she's been pretty pathetic since but it is for her long-term health.

Put Alicia in charge of the diet regime - she's probably going to be Caesar's human for his whole life. The hardest part might be keeping him away from other pets' food. My friend's macaw steals the rabbits' food when she can.

Well he's on a diet now, pellets we purchase from the vet, no more seed and nuts.

He loves scrambled eggs in the morning, now he can only have egg whites.

He came back from the pet store today and started telling me about the baby cockatoo they had for sale, all I said was “you’re not getting another bird”!

The one we have is a menace. Alicia is the only one he likes. She comes home from school and he’s with her until she goes to bed, I try to go near him and he lunges at me with that nasty looking beak!
