I have thought that one reply counts as a thread thumb, as does a tag.

(diversion, thread thumb, is there a better word?)

I'm a tag person on occasion, and I post often, and it's the one that counts, far as I can tell.

I think tags are a reasonable indicator of a thread's appeal. You tag so you can find it again - even if you are only lurking (not posting) - because it won't appear in your 'My Posts' listing.

Lonely soul, I have never but the once looked at My Posts.

If I want to see what I said, I look at my profile.

I do understand that if people tag and the tag doesn't show up in the top five - that the tags still work for people, if they use them.

My Posts lists the threads you've commented on in order of the last comment posted by anyone. It's my preferred way of keeping track of multiple conversations.
