Well, the ossobuco is done, in the traditional manner, with some fine veal shanks. So, panzade likes 'bi-' food eh....meaning you can go with white or a light red. I might suggest a Pinot Grigio with some oomph, or a Vigonier, and for red, maybe either a Barbera or a Montelpuciano.

Hmm the voodoo doll can be any number of former bosses of mine (but, uh, not the ones giving me recommendations). I have one person in particular in mind who I will not mention, not even this person's initials or gender but, suffice it to say, the voodoo doll has this person's name written all over it.

Everyone has done a fine job in my absinthe, erm absence in dealing with one evil, tricksy client...thankfully, I have their money now. Muahaha. I would have some absinthe to forget the whole weekend ordeal, but that stuff tastes like crap. I'm pouring myself a virtual Bombay Sapphire martini with a twist.
