Cav must be busy tonight. Guess I'll just have to step behind the bar and fix myself something. A tall Irish coffee with whipped cream sounds good.

Whirrrrrrrr.........

Quiet night, isn't it?

And by now I am ready for that Taliskers. Contrary to connoisseurs' preferred taste, I like mine over ice, and yes, I'd like a good heavy highball glass, one of those antique crystal ones. Scotch.. hmmm, I think I need a bit of smoked cheese and crackers with that.

So, Eva, how are you doing?

Ossobuco, mind if I join you in the cheese and crackers? It's a bit early here yet for the Taliskers, besides which I'm still a bit hung over from last night and I didn't sleep too well curled up in the bottom of the hammock...

Yes, Fortune, I have this whole cheese plate arranged for us. Frankly, some friends I visited a few days ago had this good selection of Humboldt Fog and Point Reyes Blue, and I added a smoky mozzarella. I wafted it away, in virtual time, to share here. Perhaps some nice nuts....

When I visited some a2kers in Seattle a year or two ago (speaking of nice nuts), they took me to Pike's Place market, this extravagant shoreline marketplace with lots of goodies including a vast selection of different kinds of nuts coated with different spices... ooohhhhh, they were good.

I suppose I should buy Gus a drink to make up for the spider crack I made to him before. What's your pleasure bud?

(I think so, but it is probably put through millipore filtration and then made into a bubbly...)

PS I'm a day late, but sure, panzade, help yourself! I always get too much at a buffet. The homemade blueberry jam is incredible, you really must try it.

Oh, hi jes! Sorry...I must have drifted off there. Irish coffee does it to me every time.

I'm doing fine. Work has been a bitch lately, but I'm practicing emotional detachment. Lalalalalala....Wink

May I join you guys for a cup of tea? Do you have Lemon Zinger by chance?

Oh my, perhaps we should leave them alone. Here, Eva, tell Auntie Jes all about the evil people at work. And hmm, maybe this voodoo doll will help. Look, it's even got toner all over it already! Might wanna handle it while wearing gloves.
