I'm feelin' very mellow tonight. I'll just sit here quietly on the deck, sip my Bailey's, and breathe in the warm ocean air.

Cav, have you ever thought about putting hammocks out here?

Glenlivet it is, Dalwhinnie for those who prefer a ligter malt, and manly Talisker for those into musk and peat.

As for hammocks, I'll check the zoning laws.

I'm feeling pretty mellow myself. Actually, I'm quite tired, so I think I'll take a nap on that lawn chair over there under the palm tree.

Montana my favourite peron of the female persuasion sleeps soundly, Hiama sips his Glenlivet and drops off to sleep alongside her

good morning
Wow. Wild party last night? Do you all have hangovers?

I'll just sip my coffee and keep my thoughts to myself. I'm not one to butt my nose into other people's business. I'm curious about those spandex pants laying in the middle of the floor and that glob of people dangling out of the hammock, but I'm sure it is all innocent . . . .

No hangover here, Debra. I'm on my way over to the breakfast buffet. Fresh fruit and pastries sound scrumptious this morning. Can I bring you something?

I'd like to put in an order for an bottle of 18 yr. old Talisker for later today, it only being just past noon here now. A bottle should cover it for us single malt scotch drinkers, shouldn't it? well, you might throw in a bit of a different one, a younger Glenmorangie.. In the meantime, I'd like some toasted thin sliced hearth bread with mayo and sliced ripe homegrown heritage tomatoes, please. Um, a side of some nice olives with cumin and garlic. And some cold aqua mineral con gas, Apollonaris if you have it handy, Cav.

So where is my Morris chair and ottoman? I thought it would be by the floor to ceiling bay window....

Ossobuco - italianchef website

This is the recipe I like, though I used beef shanks instead of veal, swiss chard instead of celery, and I think I added dry sherry since I didn't have white wine that day, and the whole thing tasted wonderful, better than other recipes I've tried, which were boring in contrast.

So maybe I'd have sherry with it, fool that I am. Or a sauvignon blanc, my old standby. I know, you're not supposed to have white with beef. Heh. Let's see what Cav says...
