@cicerone imposter,
Sure people are going to not only be willing to take a chance of dying by the acts of hoodlums but also being send to prison for decades if people like you do not approve of your dealings/handlings of such criminal elements, by joining the police department.

We will all need to turn to the Zimmerman of the world and ourselves for protections of ourselves and our families.

@BillRM,
We all know you're a racial bigot, so quit proving yourself over and over. It's tiresome.

@cicerone imposter,
Yes indeed if you have a problem with someone with dark skin attacking a shop owner and then a cop you are a racist.

Look mom this 350 lb guy attacking this small shop owner did not have a gun even!!!!!!

I don't doubt that a bit. It's a wonder a hero like you was never a city cop.

@snood,
Lord I would never harm a pickett slide rule by using it as a weapon but as a young teenager I did made a high voltage stun gun for the fun of it from parts I have laying around.

Footnote then after reading a science fiction story I then try to combine a water gun with my stun gun only to find that a stream of water would break up and not carry a charge as a result to the target unlike in the story

@snood,
Yes my gang was super nerds and when we got into trouble it was for such deeds as blowing up a corner of a parent basement while mixing a gasoline boaster for our cars.

Thinking back there was not one black in our group or even one black taking advance courses in our high school for that matter.

Ooh, that was a nice tidbit you threw in there about there not being any blacks in the advanced courses. Must be because they didn't have your superior intellect (and courage, don't forget courage).

@snood,
I have no idea why they was not in the courses as anyone who wish to take the advance courses at the time could sign up for them.

There was no force selection for those courses by the school administration so you can not blame them for keeping the black students or anyone else out of them instead of taking so call business math and general science courses.

As far as my superior intellect I am still amused that the so call school guidance counselor once told my father that I was an over achiever and not as bright as I thought I was.

Despite my top marks in such subjects if there was a way of blocking me from taking those courses and by doing so interfering with the honor roll students class rankings I am fairly sure they would had done so.

You know I do not know how it is now but in my high school there was a group of mainly females who live for their class rankings.

Frankly they as a group did not have a love for any of the subjects and care for them only to the degree that they could aid their standings.

They had a fit over me who was a lowly B student on average but due to my love of science and math came into those courses with a background of self studies dating back years to the point I have no problem waxing their rear ends as far as grades was concern in those areas.

They was not happy people.

I've got a fairly good idea. Here's a clue, it has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with academic ability.

@izzythepush,
You notice how he just casually mentioned that he was in "advanced" courses, and there were oh yeah by the way no blacks there. Just for our information. He's so full of information, don't you think?

@izzythepush,
Odd as that was a fact not one of a few hundreds black student sign up and there was no barrier for them doing so.

They joined the majority of white students in taking business math and such waste of time as it was only a few percents of the student body that took the advance courses
