@McGentrix,
McG, you ever fail to amaze me. Thankyou for offering an explanation to Bill that won't hang him up on race only. Too bad he'll never get it.

@McGentrix,
Thankyou, again. I've never ever claimed it was "ALL cops" or even "MOST cops", I claim it is a problem with some cops who are giving law enforcement a bad name, and that the biggest factor to police brutality is defective training and the emphasis on shooting as a first response to every situation.

Bullshit with the idea that police are taught to shoot blacks first and ask question later.

They are however taught to act one way or another in a fraction of a second as if the person is armed whether they go home or not depend on their judgment in that short time period.

Nice that after a shooting the people who judge and sometimes condemn them have all the information in the world and are under no pressure.

But for example when there is a toy gun that had have it marking removed is pointed at a police officer unlike say some of the fools on this system he have no way of knowing it is not real and unless he is insane will fired his gun.

Even worse for the innocent victim, don't you think? People's lives are at stake here and cops are killing them.

Go back to bed and sleep it off.

No one who point a mock weapon at a police officer is an innocent victim.

@bobsal u1553115,
Next we have an elderly man who hit a protector in his 20s with his barehands.

Is it 'fair' that the victim of the attack was the one who got jump on no but whether it was good police judgment yes.

We could had have a death or serous harm to the elderly man if his victim had been allowed the time to lay into the old fool so the police seizing the young man first made sense to me in stopping any serous harm from being done to anyone.

By the way it was a child of 12 not ten but thanks for trying to made a tragic even worst by lowing the age by two years.

Well I do not care about the toy industry as it is up to the parents to protect their children from harm no matter what the toy industry does or does not do.

@BillRM,
FYI, fake guns have existed even when I was a child. Cops didn't go around killing us. What's different today?

My my and when we was kids the chance of it being a real gun was far more tiny then it is now.

No cop is going to take the chance of leaving his or her own children fatherless or motherless when real guns in the hands of children is not uncommon.

The attempted robbery was captured on the store's surveillance cameras.

The boy is seen walking into the store wearing a bike helmet and baggy clothes.

He walked down an aisle, then to a checkout register.

According to one employee, the boy pointed the gun and said, "Give me the money."

Another employee, who didn't want to use his name, said he didn't know if the gun was real or fake, and that he just wanted to make sure it didn't go off.

"As soon as I moved I reached over to him, twisted his wrist, took the gun away," he said.

The boy is also seen struggling with a worker as he tried to take him to the office.

A store manager called police.

An employee told WPBF 25 News the gun was loaded, but there was no bullet in the chamber.

The boy's mother, Eboni Alls, said he had told her he was going to the park to play and didn't know anything was wrong until it was time for her to pick up her other son.

"When I grabbed my purse, I'm like, it was so light. I'm like, I knew I was missing something. I said, 'Where's my gun?'" Alls said.

The boy cannot visit the grocery store and has been released from home detention. Additionally, he will have to enter a diversion program.

A 4-year-old boy accidentally shot in his mother, an apparently staunch pro-gun advocate, in the back in north Florida on Tuesday, according to local deputies.

The woman, who has been identified as Jamie Gilt, 31, told Putnam County police officials that her son was sitting in the back of her pickup truck when he picked up a .45-caliber handgun and shot her through the back of the seat. A deputy on patrol approached the car on Tuesday afternoon, as it had stopped and looked “awkward,” and found her shot in the front seat.

Gilt was taken to a hospital in Gainesville, Florida, where she remained in stable condition on Tuesday afternoon. The 4-year-old boy is with family members and the Department of Children and Families has been notified, according to officials.

A Facebook page purporting to belong to Gilt called “Jamie Gilt for Gun Sense” features pro-gun images, including a photograph of a woman pointing a gun with the caption, “The more I learn about my government, the more I love my guns!” and an advertisement for a product called Liberal Tears Gun Oil. According to the Facebook page, it’s for people who want to “support and expand our 2nd Ammendment [sic] rights.”

According to the Associated Press, Gilt said her son started “behaving frantically” in the back of the vehicle before he shot her. Gilt lives in Jacksonville, Florida, according to deputies.

Deputies said the handgun was found on the floor of the pickup truck, which was pulling a horse trailer. Gilt was on her way to pick up a horse from a nearby family.

BROOKLYN, NY -- Police have charged a 15-year-old Brooklyn girl with the murders of her mother and mother's boyfriend, saying she left the bodies in their Sheepshead Bay apartment for days and even went out partying one night.

Destiny Garcia has been charged as an adult with two counts of second degree murder and two counts of criminal possession of weapon. Detectives said she confessed to the murders during questioning.

Police identified the victims Monday as 38-year-old Rosie Sanchez and her boyfriend 40-year-old Anderson Nunez.

The two were found at about 6:30 p.m. inside their apartment on Batchelder Street in the Sheepshead Bay Houses. Police said their bodies had been been in the apartment since last Sunday, December 27, and that Garcia lived in the apartment with them.

According to the NYPD, Sanchez was shot multiple times in the chest and found sitting in a chair, and Nunez had been both shot and stabbed and was found on the living room floor. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

While talking with detectives, police said Garcia told them her mother had been physically abuse to her on at least one occasion.

"We don't believe this is at all, initially, an act of self defense. She went and got a gun from another individual that we're trying to find right now, to commit the homicide," said Robert Boyce, NYPD's detectives chief.

Police said that person is a 15-year-old boy.

Officers described the scene as 'bloody,' and hard to process.

Police said while the bodies were in the apartment, Garcia went to Times Square to ring in the New Year with a friend.

White Trooper Pleads Guilty in Shooting of Unarmed Black Man
Source: Associated Press

A white South Carolina trooper pleaded guilty Monday to assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature in the 2014 shooting an unarmed black driver seconds after a traffic stop.

Trooper Sean Groubert, 32, faces up to 20 years in prison. The shooting captured on dash-cam video from the trooper's patrol car shocked the country, coming during a wave of questionable police shootings.

Levar Jones was walking into a convenience store in September 2014 when Groubert got out of his patrol car and demanded Jones' driver's license.

Jones turned back to reach into his car and Groubert fired four shots. Jones' wallet is seen flying out of his hands.
