I suddenly remember a Dutch commercial about an American family 'discovering' Wagner Pizzas. The mother says 'It's from Deutschland' (when she looks at the pizza box). The son asks to his father 'What's Deutschland?' And the father answers:

'That's that little country next to the Netherlands'

OK, that I call humor Laughing (part of the 'Calimero'-syndrome I guess).

That´s no humor.....

So well, Holland: Is as far as I know a "district" of the Netherlands. Ok, it´s a not good name for the whole country.

Of course it's humor

Concerning 'Holland': the Netherlands has twelve provinces. Two of them are called Noord-Holland (North-Holland) and Zuid-Holland (South-Holland). Now, as someone from the province of Noord-Brabant (North-Brabant; (South-) Brabant lies in Belgium), I believe the name 'Holland' is actually discriminating. A lot of Dutch will probably say that's overreacting; I believe however that 'Holland' only refers to the northern (Protestant) provinces in the Netherlands, and NOT to the two southern (Catholic) provinces, Noord-Brabant and Limburg.

Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

And someday I hope to visit all the countries listed above (except Croatia, I'm skeered of that place)

I've been to Netherlands (or is it The Netherlands) but I was 6, I barely remember it.
