Hebrew names with links
Understand that Hebrew name translation often times is not literal to an exact English name. Sometimes there are many options. Here are the listings, their links (including Hebrew script for spelling) and the rankings:

Be aware that if your name is Sandy Karl, the first name could be one of the Hebrew name options below, but the last name would probably be transliterated exactly. So, KARL would be spelled in Hebrew lettering but be pronounced as K-A-R-L. Capish?

Note:
"Your English name(s) and Hebrew name(s) may not be related. The Hebrew Name database contains direct transliterations of many Hebrew names. It also contains many links between English names and Hebrew names that are name suggestions based on popular usage. There is no law or custom that your chosen Hebrew name must correspond to your English name."

On this linked website, the program explains how to view the Hebrew script, so you don't need to have Hebrew fonts on your computer to view or send in mail:

"Many people over the years have emailed me on how to write their Hebrew name. I decided to create this database which allows you to print, copy and save your Hebrew name with Nikud (vowels) and an English transliteration. Everything has been done using graphics so that you do not need Hebrew installed on your system."

For example, when I was born my parents chose my American name to be Russell..but my Hebrew name is Reuven. However, in the program I'm showing you, my name works out to be Admon or Almog. (My dad was Louis...but was chosen to be Eleazer.)

Here's what my search on the 'net turned up for
Sandra/Sandy.

For technical reasons (fonts issues), I can't write Hebrew lettering here. I could name or spell the Hebrew letters for you that you might use...but then you'd need to know some Hebrew? Do you know Hebrew? I'm guessing due to the nature of your question, you don't know Hebrew..so there's no help there for you here. The best thing to do is look at the linked site and read the info.

Would you send mind writing out the hebrew translation on paper and sending to my home address so i can get this transferred to tattoo. I trust you will give me it me correct and i don't end up getting something stupid tattooed on my back.

I want to get

will you send me all these to my home address, then i can make a decision. Let me know and then I will send you my address. If you want i will pay the postage.

But please, if you can't do it exact tell me, its going to be with me for life and i don't want something like **** written down my spine!

Thanks

@Ragman,
Ragman,

If I give you the Hebrew text would you be able to tell me what it means or what the English word is?

@TanyaStan,
Sorry, but I don't translate Hebrew to English. But I do have a suggestion. Type the keywords 'translate Hebrew to English' into Google and you'll get several hits for websites that do translate. One of those hits is Babylon, a free translation site.

Good luck in your search (mazel tov)

@TanyaStan,
Sorry for my misinterpreting what you are asking. If you can enter the Hebrew text here, I can try to help. If it's the text of a name, I'll give it a shot.

{Edit: OK ..I see the answers are there in the other posting.}
