Well the starving children that we found were fed, their power and water supplies, was or is being restored or installedin the first place, their schools rebuilt, and they are given a gift of personal freedom unimaginable under Saddam Hussein. So, yes, starving children I think are always a concern of decent people the world over. Not one of us has opportunity or ability to rescue them all. But we sure can do what we can do. And if that is one effect of many good things that can come out of the Iraq war, so much the better.

Oh, and Germany didn't fire the first shot at the USA in WWII either. But we sort of thought it needed to be dealt with anyway, just like Iraq needed to be dealt with. Smile

Where I find the contradiction is when this president and administration tells us each life is important, and push through rapid legislation to try to "save" one life that had no chance of survival, but does nothing to help the children of Iraq.

And I see a huge problem making a correlation between the two. I happen to think presidents and members of congress can probably deal with more than one issue at a time in most cases.

But they have completely ignored what is supposed to be prioritized. I would put Iraqi children way up there on any list.

Okay I'll need some evidence for that opinion C.I. or otherwise I'll just assume you are bashing the president and Congress per usual. I will say you will be hard put to come up with any credible basis for the statement however. I suggest you go back and reread the posts regarding this too.

Fox demands support for all of our opinions, but rarely produces anything to support her own.

I got a big news for Fox; it's my opinion. Whether there are supporting comments by others is not important.

Isn't it interesting that you have more people on a2k that disagrees with you than those that agree.
