I don't want to go into depth about this, but I am having a minor health issue here, maybe you've noticed my absence from the forum for almost a week. I'm waiting on some test results now, but if they're not what I want them to be, then I'll be going in for a little procedure on thursday and have to reschedule my visit.

Anyway, it's not the end of the world, either way,..really simple thing.

JerryR- Just take care of yourself, and be well. There will be other gatherings. Miss ya though!

Margo, To make kitten britches, one must have two cats. I ain't there yet, but hope to be Friday. Yikes. Hat? Where's my baseball cap I ordered. ? I plan to turn it around backwards and get a tatoo.

Geez, I haven't even started packing, and this time next week I can find out if Paddy is really the big, red haired, Irish cat he looks like.

We haven't heard from the travelling duo BigDice and Urs yet. I'm sure they're exhausted. I think their flight arrived late, around 10:30 or 11 pm.

Misti, I asked Tommy this, but he never explained. What's the difference between Paddy and Patty. I always said St. Patty's day. Wrong, huh?I was used to March coming in like a lion and going out like a lion in Virginia, here it's a a little different.

Letty, the way I understand it is this, Paddy is short for Patrick ... Patty is short for Patricia.

gotcha, Misti. Guess it makes as much sense as all the diminutives for Elizabeth.

Jerry, I do hope your doctor gives you the OK to come to Florida, but as others have said, take care of your health first; there will be other gatherings. I'll be keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that you're just fine!

Poor BigD and Urs. Here in Ponte Vedra Beach, it is supposed to get down into the 30's tonight. I'm sure that it will warm up in a coupele of days.

WHEEEEE. Letty and I will be there on Friday!!!

I spoke with BigDice and Urs this evening. They arrived late Sunday evening, exhausted, they got up and left at 8:00 a.m., went shopping in Orlando, with the top down, the windows up!

The early bird catches the worm, huh?

We are having dinner tomorrow evening and am so looking forward to it!

Just re-read my last post,..sounds a bit over-dramatic, sorry

My doctor found a lump, and I was waiting on the results,..guess I was a little freaked out.

Anyway, it turns out that it's some kind of cyst (Thank God), but since they lanced it to test it, it's been growing quickly and kind of hurts.

So, must go in on Friday to have it taken care of, but it's nothing serious.

I hope you all have a fantastic time, I'll be thinking of ya!!

JerryR -- Sorry to hear about your procedure. Those sorts of things are never pleasant but soon it will be just a memory.

I'm missing out, too, and super glad I didn't hop a flight last weekend... I would have arrived in Florida a week early. (I was so confused!!!) And no, I'm not coming this week either, but I'll be with you in spirit. Enjoy your time together. Hope the weather improves. I imagine you in hats (a2k, propeller and sun) and brilliantly-colored, vivid-patterned Hawaiian shirts, all in a row of lounge chairs sitting in the sunshine, with tall palms behind and fou-fou iced beverages in front of you. It is a lovely picture!
