Surf's up?? Dude!!! I was born in California, but I've only been surfing once and that was about, umm, 38 years ago! Ehbeth is sooo naughty!
I've known some Swedes that tan beautifully--it makes me so jealous, but please do pack some good strong (SPF 30) lotion for at least the first few days. In Mexico, where the sun is even stronger, I fell asleep on the beach and the bottoms of my feet were even burned. I also was very sick. It is a sure way to ruin a vacation.
I couldn't resist putting a 'Florida or Bust' as my signature even though I'm already in Florida.
Some good news--Letty is definitely coming. I'm not sure for how long, but at least she will be there. All of you who haven't met her are in for a BIG treat (even though she is a small woman). Maybe we can talk her into singing for us.
I'm beginning to feel like Snoopy spinning around, his ears flying, saying "Wheee!"

Yay Letty is coming. Diane I could help you out with the surfing but alas there are no waves in Florida, well teeny waves there are but not enough to really surf. We could try wind surfing I haven't done that yet.

BD I sure did not know that about the world champion surfing being from Cocoa Beach. You learn something new everyday. You aill have to ask Misti and Rae about bars but it is Florida and the beach and all.

Diane I love the image of you twirling like Snoopy, hehe.

Joanne, thank you for offering to help me learn to surf or wind ski, but if you look at my post you'll see that it was about 38 years ago that I gave it a try. Honey, I'm not ready to die yet!!! I'll just watch, thank you very much.

BigD, you've been doing some research. Coconuts sounds yummy. I have to wonder if you weren't also interested in the bikini contest.

Those beach bars are pretty lenient about animals like Snoopy. Plus, I'll try to hide my ears under a hat! Cool

Coconuts on the Beach was THE restaurant I suggested to Rae one night that we should all go to. They have a deck w/umbrellas outside whilst we sit and watch the ocean.

It is very pretty and the food is goooooooooood!

I've been to Coconuts several times. The food is great and the service was impeccable ~ considering the crowds of people.

For the last two months though, their marquee has said 'We're Open ~ Please Excuse out Dust'. They are apparently remodeling.

If blackened means well done, we're in business. Wonder who decided that a perfectly good cheeseburger needs bacon on top.

Remember, dice, you and I are only going to overlap by about one day - which is less than a month away.

Hey, I'm not coming to eat- I'm coming to YAK! Very Happy

Rae- Any decent Chinese restaurants near you? The ones on the west coast run from awful to awright. Since I am in Florida. the only really great Chinese food that I had was when we took a trip to W. Palm Beach!
