@Lash,
Get your anger under control.

This is your insult:

Lots of assumptions happening here.

Incorrect. Since you've proven deficits in your mind-reading, I'd stop trying to use those powers if I were you. "

You've made up my mind. I am tired of the your nastiness. I'm beginning to think you're just trying to disrupt the thread. I'm ignoring you.

Bob's dishonest? He highlighted the bit where you insulted him.

Lots of assumptions happening here.

You ignored that and spoke about something else. You can't get any more dishonest, and you must be really stupid if you think anyone will fall for that.

Unfortunately none of that is the case now. Can you explain why???

@RABEL222,
You and your buddy Frank probably drool on your keyboards with some perverse delight making false accusations about people here who have the audacity to hold different opinions than yours. The two of you made all kinds of personal accusations about me because I hate Hillary Clinton and support Bernie Sanders. You Did your best to ruin conversation among other people to such a degree that better human beings than you prefer not to be anywhere where they are forced into contact with you.

then, like two doddering geriatric imbeciles, you sit back with your mouths hanging open when someone does to you what you've been doing to them. What did you do? Run to Bob crying to see if he'd save you from that mean Lash woman? It was hilarious to see Frank crying to George for mocking him after his unforgivable behavior here. You two are overconfident bullies who just got gob smacked by people you've been harassing.

I'll call you anything I please until and unless you retract the crazy baseless self serving lies you've spread ad nausem on these pages about me.

@snood,
This is the second time you've posted "sigh" after a post in which I am defending myself from personal attack and accusation.

You do realize that is a passive aggressive method of criticism, although mild. Why do you do it? Especially when you said you wouldn't?

Why is it ok for others but not me? I'd really love to know that answer.

It seems like people expect to be able to accuse me of anything that comes to mind, but somehow I am wrong to defend myself. Is that what you think?

I went back several pages to find how and when this latest line of confusion started, I am baffled. I can't make sense of it. I say everybody just drop it and start over?

In Lash's defense, I can't find too many offensive post to other posters, but then I couldn't find the beginning of it and went back through several pages. I was mostly trying to find where Lash called Rable an anti-Semite, another term overused. In any case, enough?

People have a right to vehemently hate a candidate and what they stand for. I know I did the whole Bush administration with the exception of Powell and even him I was disappointed in terribly. Lie After Lie After Lie: What Colin Powell Knew Ten Years Ago Today and What He Said He has since leaving office been making redemptions, but still I don't think he can erase that.

I find the North Korea email troublesome on the Hillary email scandal. Not sure this one can be explained away.

The reason Hillary doesn't just cop to what the Unions want is she is getting a big pay day when TPP is pushed through. It will be almost impossible for her to feign support of the unions in this case.

I suppose if it looks like it will prevent her ascension into the Oval, she'll just outright lie and do as she wants after she''s in office. That should surprise no one.

I hope the unions know what time it is.

@Lash,
Perhaps he is sighing about the whole issue? In any event, yes you do have a right to defend yourself. Personally I don't think it is right everyone here ganging up on you merely for having a difference of opinion and defending yourself against accusations. I think it is enough on their parts, they should all let it go, to use a popular children's movie quote.

I absolutely think you have every right - and even the responsibility - to defend yourself against unwarranted attack. I don't know, it just seems like a lot of the space on the threads about the 2016 election keeps going to personal arguments, and it's tiresome - sorry. I apologize for posting sigh twice after your posts. I should have posted sigh after someone else's post.

I agree. We all have different points of view and perspectives on the issues we are discussing, but, I believe for most of us, the most interesting part is those differences themselves.

I don't share Lash's enthusiasm for Bernie Sanders or have much expectation that he will get the nomination. However it is an observable fact that he has garnered far more support among Democrats than most folks anticipated when he started his campaign. Lash has done a good job articulating the likely reasons for his appeal, and that is interesting even if one doesn't support him.

Snood and I often disagree about many things but I pay attention to his perspectives and occasionally get the impression that there may be more about which we agree than meets the eye.

I have my own perspectives, and perhaps some of you find them tiresome, but I do enjoy expressing them.

@georgeob1,
I think Lash's fierceness on Bernie's behalf has given me a little bit of a wake up, and I have been paying more attention to what he says and considering more carefully how he may or may not be able to serve as POTUS.
I sometimes have fallen into focusing on the individuals here instead of the opinions they offer, and that's just something I have to continue to work on. I hope others make similar efforts. I really do appreciate the opportunity to try to see things from others' viewpoints.
