The school of thought to answer your comment on how Bernie could get superdelegates focuses on voters in each state pressuring the superdelegates to respect the will of the people in the state who voted for Bernie.
Threaten their mealtickets, and suddenly opposing Hillary isn't so scary.
Is it a shoe-in? No.
Can it happen? Oh yes. Look at the miracles that've happened already around Bernie's candidacy.
It's not about Hillary "giving" anything to him. It's about Bernie's people taking it from elitist superdelegates who locked in with Hillary before they even knew Bernie was in the race without a thought to the will of their voting constituents. They'll be tracking money changing hands among these lobbyist "superdelegates" and other "politicians."
