My comment was about you, not maporsche.

If you think maporsche thinks Mr. Sanders is a saint of any sort you haven't been reading his posts.

I was responding specifically to the statement "Bernie doesn't care about his chances to win (or words to that effect)"
IMO, The only person who at this stage of a campaign didn't care about their chances would be a selfless saint whose efforts were all "for the people".

Do you see the potential confusion you might engender by speaking for maporsche? If he has issue with what I say to/about him, don't you see the good sense in letting him be the one who says it? Can't maporsche most effectively clear up any misconceptions I or anyone has about maporsche?

I was sort of taken off guard snood.

My statement was meant in a joking manner (especially the hit piece part).

Even if taken literally though, making that statement wouldn't justify the response you made towards me (even if you'd forgotten that you and I have been pretty much in agreement on most of this Clinton/Sanders stuff). And I don't mean from an 'attacking' standpoint, but the content of your post doesn't make sense.

I said this: "Bernie Sanders does not care about his chance of winning the election."

You replied with this: "Geez, you really think this guy is a saint, don't you? No ambition, no ego, no human weakness? Why in the hell wouldn't he care about his chances? Because he does it all for his fellow man?"

It just doesn't fit.

Your response was to me in reference to maporsche. I understand. It's probably very hard not to be a busy body if one has become accustomed to it and had a great deal of practice.

Even if New York votes for her, there's not much love involved.

Snood mistook your sarcasm for praise, hence the meltdown. He melts down anytime someone suggests that Sanders may be a better person than the average politico.

Maporsche and I straightened it out in PMs, without all the 'help' from the peanut gallery.

Melt THIS down.

That's for amusing the gallery once more with your fascination about Bernie's sainthood and your deplorable reading skills. :-)

Don't mention it - glad to oblige! And, while we're being gracious, thank YOU for continuing to supply your consistently predictable, superfluous, banal and ignorant ass commentary.

@snood,
Meaning you actually UNDERSTAND what I speak of? Congrats, that's great news!

Now if you could stop blowing a gasket each and every time someone praises Bernie, you'd almost behave rationally... :-)

That's true, the whole idea behind "opposition research" is to get the electorate more furious at the other guy than they are at your guy.

Won, that's quite an impressive feat there... for someone as lowbrow and dull as you to manage to be still come off as haughty and condescending. Congrats backatcha!

Don't try and build complex sentences like that, Snood. They come out all garbled and make you look ridiculous.

I must admit you do have the advantage on me there, sir. You look ridiculous with no discernable thought or effort at all. Kudos!

@Olivier5,
You haven't expressed any reasonable disagreement to anything I've said. Beyond that, you've tried to characterize me as unhinged or unintelligent.

I've said and will continue to say that Bernie is just a fallible human being and politician. I say that in answer to all the hyperbolic inanity that touts him as pure as the baby Jesus and the last hope for humanity. You insult me and suggest my comments are somehow hysterical, or "melting down" as you put it.

If you are going to make snide remarks to or about me, expect answers in kind.
You'd do much better directing your comments toward the subject matter of the thread.

You're so obsessed with this alledged sanctification of Bernie Sanders that you see it everywhere, even in Porshe's posts... who has been on your side of the Bernie-Hillary battle for WEEKS!

If by your wild hyperbole you mean that Bernie's supporters tend to ideakize him, you may be right. Just like we idealized Obama. This is a natural, very human phenomenon that does not detract from the actual, "objective" worth of the candidate. 8 years later, Obama still seems to me as the right choice, even if he wasn't as great as I'd hoped...

Some politicians, like some artists, can develop an enthusiastic fan base. This is a fact of life. You may disagree with the fan's "fanatism" but it's not a bad thing to be a fan of someone. Don't sweet it.
