Democrats Evenly Split Over Clinton, Sanders in Bloomberg Poll

Last edited Thu Mar 24, 2016, 12:40 PM - Edit history (1)
Source: Bloomberg

More than halfway through a nomination race that she entered as the clear favorite, Hillary Clinton finds herself deadlocked with Bernie Sanders among Democrats.

Even after more than two dozen primaries and caucuses in which Clinton’s amassed a commanding lead in votes and in delegates needed to win the nomination, a Bloomberg Politics national poll found that Sanders is the first choice of 49 percent of those who have voted or plan to vote in this year’s Democratic contests, while the former secretary of state is preferred by 48 percent.

@snood,
More importantly: why did the tape have to be edited to make it seem the big dog said something he did not?

@revelette2,
******* boo-hoo. I said Democrat controlled, not owned. Why do you guys insist on making every statement something it's not? Did the Democrats have control or not? Yes, they did. Take you "facts" and answer what I said. Not what you wish I said.

They EXACTLY fit my scenario. Maybe you could read what was stated instead being in a rush to say "gotcha".

You don't really have control of the Senate unless you have 60% of the Senators. 41 votes there can block a bill from being considered.

And where were you during fourth grade social studies?

That's what a cry baby whiny liberal thinks. The Republicans seem to get things done without a super majority. You control when you have 51%. That's what that means. You do understand that words mean things, right? You've seen a dictionary maybe once or twice?

If they wanna block, let em try. Quit caving in.

@Blickers,
How do you know what Kerry meant when he doesn't even know what he meant.

What does "Come back from the attack" mean???

All these so called diplomats like Kerry and Clinton talk in circles and take no direct action.

Bush, which of course you must bring up, made a tremendous mistake and never actually finished the job. Then Obama took over and left the mess where it was which also helped to rise of the chaos we see today.

So tell me EXACTLY how Clinton is going to make everything better?

@McGentrix,
That's because Democrats put country first and work with the President on most things. Republicans are power hungry ideologues who are out to maximize their power at the expense of the country.

Case in point was taking the holding off raising the debt ceiling. If that had not been raised before the deadline, the US defaults on its debt. Since the stability of US securities largely depends on the fact that the US ALWAYS makes the payment, that would have shot the US financial position right there, with massively negative repurcussions on the economy. The Republicans not only took it down to the wire, they BRAGGED in front of the world that they were not afraid of default.

The default was headed off at the last moment, but not without real damage being done to the reputation of America as THE safe place for the world's investors to put their money. Totally irresponsible by the Republicans, and they ended up doing damage anyway.

@McGentrix,
So the minority Dems "controlled" Congress all the while it was "owned" by the GOP.

Explain that please.

Coincidentally, neither did your statement that drew it.

Explain how the minority Dems controlled the Congress the GOP ran.
