Ultimately, the more coverage Bernie Sanders gets, the less coverage Hillary Clinton will desire, and voters will take notice. The more that wealth inequality, poverty and issues pertaining to Wall Street greed are debated in 2016, the better Bernie Sanders will look toward Americans of all demographics. If Sanders is going to be hurt politically by the label “Democratic-Socialist,” then he’s going to also be helped by that term with people struggling from systemic injustices and endemic poverty.

When Clinton is “roping off” reporters (a public relations disaster) while Sanders continues to draw crowds ranging in the thousands, all demographics will take notice and lean toward the more open candidate. If early interaction with voters and journalists are any indication of the future, Bernie Sanders will indeed achieve one of the biggest upsets in American political history.

Losing to Sanders would put an end to the assertions that Hillary is not an incompetent and and is not a loser.

Losing to Sanders means she is not the best candidate to represent the Dems. She's been a senator and the Sec of State. I doubt you can cast her as an incompetent and loser if she loses an election. Plenty of good people have done the same including a number of interesting Republicans that couldn't get tracti0n in the primary.

@engineer,
I agree with you on this completely, Engineer.

Wrong, because Hillary has argued that she is inevitable twice in a row. During the 08 run her entire theme was built on that argument, and this time she talked the funders into not allowing anyone else to run in the primary on that argument. Failing to actually be a lock would be far worse this time because this time the party insiders signed on.

I don't suppose you would furnish a quote from Hillary where she has argued that she "is inevitable?'

Psst...you cannot, because she has NEVER argued anything like that. You simply made that up.

That's a campaign strategy. Whether is it a good one or not is one question, but losing a competitive race is hardly a sign of ineptitude. Casting Clinton as a loser/Sanders as a winner this early strikes me as similar to casting Trump as the Republican nominee. Let's hold a few primaries before having a coronation. Clinton could be the next Romney - the candidate that ends up being the last standing after all the flash in the pan candidates are burned out.

@RABEL222,
The reason you didn't hear more than 2 is because of the ROPE LINE. But people along the parade route and reporters talked about Hillary's comical run to finish the route. I know it's sad to see your favorite pantsuit maligned. (Get used to it.)

I'm sure you know I don't watch Fox News, but I wouldn't dream of dissuading you from using it. It's all you got, really. AFT news on Twitter has comments from the dues-paying Federation of Teachers. An investigation is underway. Randi Weingarten is the union boss and a good friend of Hillary's. The union membership is challenging that any polling was done. Just #6767386 of Hillary's recent corruption / **** ups.

@Lash,
You have to speak your mind as you see things, Lash...but you are helping people who want to gut safety net programs...who want to stack the courts with more justices and judges who will help gut those programs.

Do it if you must...and show the enthusiasm you are showing. But understand that you are aiding people who want to harm programs you think are important...programs you want protected and expanded.

You are aiding the Republicans...not Bernie Sanders...because Bernie Sanders CANNOT win the presidency.

@Lash,
You ever wonder how spontaneous that was? The thing with the rope, I mean. Staff just happened to be carrying around a nice thick rope just the right length.

Regardless of the news coverage Sanders receives he is still quite a bit behind Hillary in the polls and Hillary is still ahead of all the republican candidates.

@roger,
Haha. I did think about that. Wonder what other lovely crowd-pleasing goodies were in their bag of tricks. Of course, she had oxford-shirted gun-toting security guys mixed in with her too.

Hillary: Guns for my safety - not for yours!

@Frank Apisa,
Untrue and you are working for political corruption and a worsening situation for the middle class and poor people. Why don't you behave?

Your party is split, DINO. Coward. May as well vote for the only progressive.

I wonder if Biden had run and Hillary had stayed out if this would be happening. I have a feeling the Clintons used their leverage with the party to keep Joe out. You almost NEVER run against the incumbent or the Veep. (Of course, Kennedy couldn't stomach another Carter term... Neither could other Americans)

I'm not sure if that rule was broken any other time in my life.

@Frank Apisa,
I think Lash is more conservative than liberal. She isent really a tea party person but is conservative, but reasonable most of the time.
