I'm pretty happy with my Porsche 911 Carrera just the way it is. Filling it at the gas station today a guy pulls up in a new Viper roadster and wanted to trade straight across.

Straight-up trade? Hell, if he held clear title to that Viper, not a payment book for it, I'd have jumped at the deal, had the Viper on eBay in minutes, then start lookin for another nice vintage 911, and maybe a decent bassboat too, while tryin' to figure out what to waste the rest of it on. I like American Muscle cars from the 60's and early 70's

71 Chevelle with the dark blue and white stripes, white interior with nice shined Cragar mags...

About 15 years ago my husband restored a '71 Chevelle for me. Cranberry red/Black SS stripes. That car was beautiful. I drove it for two years with no problems at all. Then, just before Christmas I was parked at a local mall and came out to find my car had been keyed all the way down one side. So, hubby fixed it (lots of work) and a year later I woke up one morning to find someone has thrown stripper all over the car. That beautiful paint job has bubbled up and was peeling off. We never redid the car. I ended up selling it as is for $4,000.

The car I'd like to have now would be a '74-76 Corvette.

I'm lovin the sound of that charger and I most definitly would choose a muscle car. But the muscle car for me would have to be a 69' Chevrolet Chevelle SS. But I wouldn't be picky, I'd take any muscle car and give it a go.

My friend had one of those (Chevelle SS). Slightly jacked, fat tires, jet black with a tan interior. Apparently trying to show his girlfriend's father that he was maturing, he traded it for a new Grenada. He never even asked me if I wanted to buy it. At that point I basically gave up on him (as a friend). I figured he had lost his mind.
