As I have noted several times on this forum in the past it is called a "knight move".
True logic is linear, it is one facts that builds in a progressive fashion one fact after another. Thus the hypothesis is proven upon a rigorous standard of provable, readily verifiable assumptions and corollaries.
A knight move is denial then blame shifting, two or three moves in one direction and likewise two or three moves in another direction. Subversion... This furthers the agenda in a non linear broken logic way to create "propaganda", innuendo, false narratives and fraudulent conspiracy against those who champion the truth.
Example: A straight line is not 180 degrees because straight lines are infinitely immeasurable.
If straight lines were infinitely immeasurable then nothing would ever get built.
One strategy to sidetrack the truth is to magnify the vague and unclear above the clear and certain. To build upon thought rather than knowledge and likewise, build upon knowledge rather than wisdom... supposition over truth.

The problem with knight moves is moving in circles can trip one up and tie one in knots and it can considerably slow one down. Absurdity is not a true or solid defense. Mere honesty and integrity are all that is needed to dismiss such a deceptive ploy. A bishop...
