It is fair to criticize progressives for having a demented ideology.

Keep in mind that you have now admitted that your criticism of progressives is not fact but mere opinion. Never present it as a fact, which you always do by simply saying it with no qualifiers.

That is incorrect. "That progressive ideology is demented" is my opinion.

This does not prevent me from making factual observations about the horrible things that progressives do.

That is incorrect. That was neither fact nor opinion. That was an erroneous claim.

This is a fact: 2 + 2 = 4

This is an opinion: I think it is wonderful that 2 + 2 = 4

This is an opinion: I think it is horrible that 2 + 2 = 4

So you are citing a fact to claim my opinion was incorrect. Except you have repeatedly claimed that opinons are neither correct nor incorrect, they have no truth value. You're contradicting yourself. And it is in fact my opinion and it is true. This is also an opinion: It is my opinion that 2 plus 2 is 100.
