I'm wearing bags under my eyes.

Sorry.
Red Sox - Yankees playoff for the American League Championship.
In the Boston area right now, this is all-consuming.

Long denim skirt, berry cross-over silk sweater. I also am wearing a wool jacket and scarf. My neck went out this morning. And, handling a 10 month old with a crick in your neck is no fun.

Ouch! Been there done that. Keeping your neck warm is good. (Sweater sounds purty!)

Necks are scary. Keep it warm - the scarf is a good idea. Hope it feels better soon.

sweater is purty - a marshalls find.

I took 3 advil, rubbed a product called BIOFREEZE all over my neck and shoulder, I rolled up a scarf and laid down on the floor with it under my neck. I stratched my back and neck on an excersize ball, I tried other gentle stratches.......

One thing that I've found has helped is to stay upright and active... laying down, counterintuitively, makes it worse.

But lugging around a 10-month old, yeah, I think I've been about precisely there and it wasn't fun.

I recommend something to warm it up before any work and then something like Biofreeze (a great product in my experience) after.

light activity does help.

George - That makes at least three believers in biofreeze.

I'd say "cool", but that would be redundant.

Zappos --- almost-instant gratification --- not many places to buy footwear in the woods --- something to take my mind off a terrible ongoing problem --- consumerism......not the noblest thought. But I do need boots.

Peacock blue sweater with one black stripe on each sleeve, black velvet pants, black shoes.

Terrible ongoing problem? :-(

I do like Zappos, usually free shipping and always free + easy returns (they have a sticker with postage and everything, just pack it back up and drop off at P.O.) Best if I have something really specific in mind, daunting if I'm just browsing. (Just did, for uh you know something cool and it didn't work 'tall...)

A really unfortunate situation involving someone close to me.
::: sigh :::
Maybe it will improve eventually.

I usually only shop Zappos when I know what I'm looking for.

One of my dogs barks at the UPS truck when it drives down the street. I think he's hoping for a Petsmart delivery.

Sorry about the really unfortunate situation, Cinn. Hope it will improve eventually. Or better yet, soon.
