Hmmm. And will that jacket be either blue or red?

Pale green cashmere sweater, gray pants with cool zippers at the ankles, black wool sox, black clogs, black leather jacket, green glass drop earrings, white & gold watch, gold ruby ring... I'm so impressed with everyone's accessorizing that maybe I'll add a scarf when I go out.

Not often I get to post on this thread since I pretty much wear different versions of the same thing each day.

But today! Well, the standard corduroys, v-neck sweater, and beat up brown shoes.

But a chill has at last set in the South, and I busted out my beloved navy peacoat, with six silver buttons. For three bucks (Salvation Army) I look like a million.

Two layers of black tweed skirt, Beth?

I like how you do the black, black, black, black, bit of white, COLOR! thing.

Peacoats are cool.

mmmmmmmmm

black tweed skirt
black tweed coat

Embarrassed

<it was dayum cold this afternoon, but not two skirts cold>

I saw a woman on the bus coming home with the most marvellous outfit on - or at least a part of an outfit that I thought was grand - grey herringbone A-line skirt, with a tulle petticoat sticking out for about 4" at the bottom - there was something so cool about it.

That is cool!

I'm wearing a black shell, black 3/4 sleeve sweater, a just-past-knee-length A-line tweedish plaidish (it looks like men's suiting fabric) very dark brown on very light pink that reads as gray skirt, with about half-inch verylight pink lace at the hem, and just-below-knee black boots. (The skirt barely overlaps the top of the boots.) Wore my dark brown crocheted scarf with it and my new black fitted down jacket when I went out. Felt almost vaguely ehBeth-ish, though not nearly as polished.

There's the difference between a man and a woman. If a guy were wearing that same outfit he would have said, "Black sweater, gray skirt, and some boots"

well don't you both sound stylin'!

I've switched to black trainers, black babyphat socks, black t, the grey WOSU sweatshirt and my baked potato look-alike clogs. It's gonna get cold overnight, so I'm eyeing some flannel for later.

I am wearing a pair of jeans and a tee shirt that says "Bourbon Street" on it. There is a picture of a cocktail below the words.

I am currently shoeless.
