Is a sloppy joe a big sweater or a sandwich?

Well - here it's the big sweater meaning - I don't think Possum would fancy that - not at this time of year. It's supposed to be a scorcher today!

But thanks for the offer, your Set-Ship!

@vonny,
It's a sammich . . . one takes a pound of ground beef, breaks it up and browns it in a skillet, and then adds some form of a bar-b-que type sauce.

I am continually amazed at the linguistic ineptitude of those English-speakers who ain't 'Mericans.

@Setanta,
Yeah, and when you get tired of sloppy joe, you toss in some canned tomatoes and maybe a can of spaghetti sauce. Now, you've got a pretty good spaghetti sauce.

@Setanta,
I like this with a tad less sauce and with tomatoes, onion and a single leaf of lettuce.

Yeah, well I'm cooking a Pork Roast, just about to ensure it has crackling, that makes me a junky... Kinda ... Can your Convenient Store think about adding Roasts/veg/ chips I mean it would help a gal out, I won't have to cook!

@FOUND SOUL,
The convenience store has white bread and baloney. You furnish the frying pan, and maybe a spot of mayo.
