Why is Obama such a coward with Israel?

@cicerone imposter,
Sure CI that does not change the facts that Hamas is the de facto elected government of the Gaza Strip and no one in the Gaza Strip is trying to force Hamas out of power or are interfering with the launching of those missiles.

@BillRM,
They are not the 'de facto' government of the Gaza. They were elected like we elect our government reps, but that doesn't mean much. Our government got us into several illegal wars, and there's not much the citizens can do about it.

As for the Iraq war, GW Bush and his henchment lied to congress to get approval for that war - based on Saddam's WMD's that never existed.

It never means that the citizens approve of what their elected officials does in their name.

Remember Vietnam? Same thing.

Come on let be a little honest here that the Gaza people as a whole are in agreement with those missiles attacks so feeling sorry over the hell that is coming down on their heads as a result of the self defense actions of Israel is a hard task.

All that need to be done to protected the life of Palestinians women and children is for them to stop trying to murder Jewish women and children.

@BillRM,
And you know this how? Do you live in Gaza with all those bombs and rockets falling onto your head? You enjoy living in that kind of condition? You welcome the fact that many of your family and friends are bing killed?
Proves, you're dishonest, and a liar.

Before the Iraq war, the majority of Americans approved of the war with Iraq because the GW Bush administration lied about Saddam's WMD's. After we learned that there were no WMD's, Americans support for the Iraq war was gone, and the majority opposed it by 54%.

What any government does after they are elected into office is no guarantee that they will be truthful or make the best decisions for its citizens. NONE.

LOL so you would enjoy living in Israel and having assholes launching thousands of rockets and forcing you take shelter many times a day. Hoping that the iron dome will stop all the missiles traveling toward your city.

The different between the Jews and the Palestinians is one instead of putting their citizens on top of targets so they can cry about the death toll the Jews had spend billions on shelters and missiles defenses and the ability to knocked out missile sites.

It is in the power of the Palestinians not the Jews to end the deaths at anytime by the simple act of stop trying to killed Jews using terrorist weapons.

In a TV interview a while back, a muslim extremist was asked- "Surely your fight is with the US and British governments, not with the innocent civilians who died on 9/11 and in the London bombings?",
to which he replied- "They voted the evil governments into power in the first place, so they're as much to blame".
He's got a point..

He doesn't have a point. Targeting civilians is a very serious crime.

There are plenty of unstable countries around the world, so why is the West only concerned about Iraq/Afgh's's peace and stability?

We aren't. We are concerned about other areas as well. The neighborhood around China for instance. And Russia's aggression in Europe.

The West has been in the mideast since long before 9/11, and has also been supporting Israel for 60 years, no wonder muslims hate us.

Only a Muslim would think that peace and stability was a justification for hate.
