@SadTiger,
Is it possible the chick in the OP walked past you because she suspected you of being a taddie bit obsessive?

@roger,
Yes. obsessive. Creepy too. Because if an unattractive man asks a woman on a date that's "creepy". If a hunk asks her out that's perfectly fine. Women should always immediately call the police if an unattractive man aks her out. Then head directly to counceling at a battered womens shelter for treatment of PTSD symptoms.

specifically what about this man (who was your "equal")

Of course women should be notfied in advance if a man they deem below them is going to compliment them or ask them out. T

I'm fascinated that you've assessed the situation completely the wrong way around.

You might want to think about why you ASSUMED that I thought the man was "below" me.

___________

Yup - this is about how you interpret what other people say and do.

(emphasis added to assist ST)

the opposite of below is NOT equal

the opposite of below is above

@ehBeth,
Ok, so he was your boss? You could've just said that without all the riddles.

if he was sexually harrassing you, that's one thing but you haven't said that he was. He's still a human being. Like I said probably nervous to ask you out. What part of laughing in someone's face don't you understand as being hurtful and insultive? If there was some older woman I really liked a lot and she laughed in my face, I'd be devestated.

@SadTiger,
Your view of yourself is awful. You need to get some therapy. I know people with deformities with better self-esteem than you have. What gives me the creeps is that you have decided ALL women are ugly internally. You're not an empty shell right?....well, this also applies to others. We all experience rejection at some point in our lives.

@Setanta,
I concur. I don't know why anyone is even responding any more.

He has his mind made up, and he'll be damned if anyone is going to say anything to change it.

@chai2,
I hope he doesn't go postal though. He reminds me of that nut that killed a bunch of people on a California college campus recently.
