@bobsal u1553115,
Thank you, Bobsal, for posting that most enlightening Youtube with Noam Chomsky, one of my preferred intellectual luminaries. Chomsky said this time Israel was more sadistic in its assault than previously, although the previous attacks were almost as bad. Chomsky did not hesitate to say several times, Israel has the US backing and feels it can do anything and get away with it.

Excessive and unreasonably critical posters will refer to Noam Chomsky, as a "Self-hating Jew." Ah, he should wear such criticism as a badge of honor!

So is Soros, and he did fine. Chomsky is a very wealthy man. All from turning on his own culture, and country.

Gasp! Jews who feel they can get away with lawful self defense.... What is the world coming to?

@buttflake,
Chomsky remains faithful to a certain idea of what it means to be a Jew in this world. He is a witness for the times and a critic of his tribe, like so many Jewish intellectuals and prophets before him. Ever heard of the weeping prophet?

Thank "god" the Jews did not feel that way in the 1930s or the poor Germans might had run out of SS troops rounding the Jews up for the death camps.

@Olivier5,
Clowns like Chumpski are the problem, Israel is the solution. Part of the great hope of Israel is that owning their own country might finally cure the Jewish people of their national weakness for libtard/leftist causes.

In 1999 I watched leftists and libtards do to another innocent and moral nation, Serbia, what they would plainly like to do to Israel and would do to Israel if Israel were less than a nuclear power, using the same sort of shitty pretext involving another of the three bottom-of-the-muslim-barrel groups (albanians) who were supposedly being "oppressed(TM)" inasmuch as Serbian president Milosevic had basically outlawed and banned every major aspect of Albanian culture (rape, murder, poisoning wells, arson...) in 1989.

I mean, what's not to like about watching this same stupid, shitty little shtick come a cropper and run into a brick wall in Gaza? Oh, they want to average 12 kids per family? Guess what? They're not gonna take over anybody else's land by doing that ****, they're all gonna still be in Gaza....

What do you think of that, IzzythePOOP??

So sorry but that depends on a number of things. Anyone advocating for the Palestinians is talking genocide. That is one.

But militarily the invasion is a waste of time and serves no useful purpose, I'd have thought the Israeli generals would have told the politicians that!
Hamas can win by simply lying low while the Israelis are in Gaza, then come out after they've gone and start firing rockets again and digging new tunnels!
For example the Russians won against Napoleon by lying low when he occupied Moscow, they just left him sitting there looking stupid.

@Romeo Fabulini,
As long as the Palestinian people as a whole is putting their hatred toward Jews ahead of the welfare of their women and children there is indeed no permanent solution however as long as missiles are being fired into Israel long terms solutions is beside the point.

Stopping the ongoing attacks now is the issue using military force as any other nation of earth would also do in the same position.

In WW2 we overan the V1 and V2 flying bomb/rocket launching sites and put a stop to them by ripping up the launch rails and pads, and demolishing the refuelling buildings and workshops etc, , but Hamas rockets are just cheap little things that can be fetched up out of cellars and hidey-holes, carried into back yards and orchards and fired from there, making it almost impossible for Israel to pinpoint where they came from.
Same with the tunnels, the entrances and exits are naturally well hidden and difficult to find.
So by going into Gaza maybe Israel were hoping to bring Hamas to battle to defeat them in a neat and tidy battle, but Hamas know they wouldn't win against Israel's superior firepower so they're mostly lying low to make Israel look stupid, in line with the old military doctrine-
"Don't fight in the way your enemy wants you to fight"

Actually, they abandoned Moscow, then set it on fire.

Quote:
One week after winning a bloody victory over the Russian army at the Battle of Borodino, Napoleon Bonaparte's Grande Armée enters the city of Moscow, only to find the population evacuated and the Russian army retreated again. Moscow was the goal of the invasion, but the deserted city held no czarist officials to sue for peace and no great stores of food or supplies to reward the French soldiers for their long march. Then, just after midnight, fires broke out across the city, apparently set by Russian patriots, leaving Napoleon's massive army with no means to survive the coming Russian winter.

@mysteryman,
I know, the Russki army cleverly left him sitting in Moscow for 6 weeks expecting them to come and negotiate peace terms but they completely ignored him, and when he realised they weren't going to play ball he pulled out and got zapped by the winter, haha!
He later admitted "I stayed too long in Moscow".
As a --ahem-- PC wargaming champion, I often pull stunts like that myself to keep the enemy off-balance, and coined the wargame doctrine- "Fight with your brain first and your weapons second"

Nonsense first I have not look up what they cost but I question if they are all that cheap and little things does not cover a missile that can hurl a 600 hundreds pound warhead many tens of miles.

Each one must weight in at a few tons at least.

Next given that Israel is going to have warplanes over the Gaza Strip at all times finding and dropping a nice bit bomb on the launch crews seems more then doable.

Easier said than done mate, a couple of Hamas guys simply grab a couple of rockets, run out into the back yard with them, plonk them on a simple launch cradles pointed at Israel and let fly, then run back inside with the cradles all in a matter of seconds before the Israelis have time to spot them.

This pic claims to be Hamas rockets-

PS- just heard on the news that two American Hornet jets have bombed a couple of ISIS artillery positions in Iraq.
That's because arty positions are sitting ducks, not like Hamas rockets.
