"Asked why Bush himself had not apologized, McClellan said: ''I'm saying it now for him.''

The word is not in W's vocab.

good thing they haven't asked Bush directly why he hadn't apologized.
He might say something like "I was never good in gymnastics", "Yeah, I played polo in college, but was never particularly good to be honest", or "What do you mean? I am not astronaut"

Maybe he didn't say he was sorry because he didn't do anything? Ever think of that. He can apologize all he wants to and it won't make a lick of difference as to how that Iraqi's see the Americans and the Iraqi people that are holding them captive.

The damage is done.

Only when arrogantly doing as he pleases...not when it comes time for accountability for his actions.......I should think that would be obvious, especially for a bright bunny such as yourself although I feel certain yours was a rhetorical question......

Yes.
The damage control is way too late.

W had to go on Arab TV never the less, to make the effort for the Bushco team to keep the Bushites clicking their heels to the Glorious Leader of the Free World.

The doors to the Torture Chambers of the Compasionate Conservative have been opened and the world has had a glimpse. That perception wont be erased with words.

Yeah, the lefties would dearly love for the President to apologize for something. It would make a fantastic sound bite for the Kerry campaign. Very Happy

Did you honestly expect Bush to apologize?

I mean, come on! If he couldn't apologize to the American people for widdling at the ranch when he was sent the August 6th, PDB warning of an imminent al Qaida attack on the USA, why would you expect Bush to apologize to Iraq for a chapter from the Marquis d'Sade?

I didn't expect that weasle to do so.

He is a miserable failure and to admit any responsibility for his miserable failures would shatter his shallow brain.

George Bush is the sorriest excuse for a president I've seen in my lifetime.

I was embarrassed to see he was on Arab TV spinning away for himself, Cheney and Rummy the Dummy.

What a terrible time in American history.

The lefties have their fingernails all chewed down because there's no apology. Never mind that our President has nothing to apologize FOR. The PDB warned that Osama had the US on his wish list someday. It was made public and everyone could see it didn't talk about an imminent threat. Yet the wailing and gnashing of teeth goes on nonstop.

If it wasn't so pathetic it might be amusing.

Tarantulas.

Do you believe that the commander in chief of the US military has any responsibility for its actions?

Pathetic and not amusing is the criminal Buscho Regime.

Their Right Wing lackeys are pathetic and not amusing, as well.
